Just out of curiosity, why do people continue to buy this branded low-grade stuff when the alternatives in Aldi and Lidl (particularly the latter) are much the same price but with vastly superior ingredients?
The Lidl one's even made by Dorset Cereals.

Do Aldi and Lidl have no added sugar versions?
I don't believe they have a like for like comparison to this ingredient wise, this isn't traditional muesli.

Yes they do.
I don't know about the NAS version but the original version has the same ingredients as Alpen. The Lidl version actually contains slightly more fruit, oats and nuts. And less sugar.
I know this from eating it all the time. :smile: It's very good, and only £1.29.

I noticed this is about the same price in Morrison's at the moment, possibly £1.50 rather than £1.39. Just in case you have a local Morrison's rather than Tesco. :smiley:
