check your car after using these cowboys they crashed mine and didn't tell me hoping I would walk away so they could deny it was them. Not part of the motor industry code of practice so you have to sue them to get anywhere

£22 for an hour's work in a garage? Almost what my baby sitter charges and she's without any overheads. Be honest - they will do a crap job or charge you for a bunch of extras. Garages near me charging £100+++ for an hour's labour.

Used ats groupon, done yesterday due to bad smells, now smells great!!..was due anyway the removed 280 and repleced with 600 so was on its way out anyway..great deal @ £22...did take over an hr too

Google them to find a local phone number as usually the groupon number garages provide is answered with "sorry we have no appointments for weeks"
Had a shoddy service offer try this, rang real number to be offered a service in days, only then did I tell them it was a groupon.
Service itself was a complete rip off to boot.
I expect this mob will either find extra "faults" to cream money off the vulnerable or simply say no work needed.

I had this done before. Waste of money. They turn your ac on and open a spray can of antibacterial/anti fungal fumes. It didn't work very well.
I just sprayed detol aerosol into the ac intake myself. Worked much better, smelt nicer and I got 3 more uses out of it. Can of detol £2.99

Bearing in mind an aircon unit is a sealed system why would you need to regas?
Will be a leak/corrosion to joints causing lack of pressure. Regas is pointless unless faulty pipes fixed.

Had mine done at the Chelmsford Branch this morning - arrived at 9.45 taken in around 10am - phone call just after 11am to confirm it was all finished. AC was beautifully cold, can't grumble at all! No upselling or bother, really happy!

Just had it done this morning. A previous check at Halfords tole me the Air Con wasn't even starting up and needed 'regassing', so I went with this deal. Now Air con works (as far as i can tell). Very easy, dropped of vehicle at 8.20, picked up hour later. Very Friendly staff. Smelt very anti bacterial (The car not the staff). I was a bit pessimistic with these branches but it seems to have worked out well for me, Cheers OP !

Had mine done at the Chingford branch. Went in at 10am. Car was hooked upto some cylinders. Had a fella checking up on it every 5 min or so. Took 50 mins in total. Ice cold air coming out. Start up smell I had everytime I'd switch the ac on has now gone. All in all very pleased :smiley:
Very pleased with the service in Kingston (nice chap at the reception).
They has recovered 40g old gas and 1ml of oil and topped up 440 and 1ml of oil (very pro).
No leaks at all.
Now my aircon is ice cold :smiley:
Bargain for £18.
