I'd take a Lenovo/Intel rather than an Acer/AMD any day.

Is the Windows 8 or Windows 10 version best to go for in terms of a chance it'll be new? I've gone for the Windows 10 version.

​Yeah I know. I'd want 6gb ram minimum with 1TB hard drive. There was a slighter cheaper Acer for £199 but the processor was a bit slower and 6gb RAM.

But NEW and CHEAPER with a faster processor, you can upgrade the RAM and HDD to an SSD, with the second hand one you will find it difficult, if not impossible to upgrade the processor.

BTW did I mention it was NEW?

It's second hand and hit and miss with them. Should be £180 at most.

Expired now but gives you an idea that there's bargains about.

All the ones I've had from Argos have looked like new.

I wouldn't say it's expensive for a laptop with those specs.

Trust me they aren't all because someone changed their mind.

A lot are knackered and/or damaged, Argos are notorious for sending out unchecked 'refurbs'.

It's too expensive for second hand anyway, I picked up a brand new Lenovo i3 laptop for less than £200 for my Dad last month.

Arrghh, this W10 version or the W8 version? There's two listings.

Wondering if the W8 one means it's hardly been used, and the W10 one has been used for a while with someone upgrading it themselves?

Manufacturer refurb comes with 12 month warranty not a bad deal surely :neutral_face:
