Was £5.00 now reduced to £3.50 850g bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk instore in Iceland (found in Stevenage store) I did ask and they said it is national and looks that way by the shelf edge label.

It's chocolate! Let's not get scientific about it!

I got a bar for fathers day, was unrecognisable in taste from the cadburys i remember. tasted almost treacle like. And whats with all these 'marvellous' creations of putting other mondelez products into dairy milk?! Also picked up a bag of whole nut singles in Arecife duty free emblazoned with the union jack and other british emblems. Small print on the back of the packet - made in Poland! That was the final straw - bl00dy yanks!

Put dairy milk in the freezer for about 15-20 mins. Love the snap when you break chocolate plus melts slowly in your mouth!

You wouldn't need to put it in the freezer to get the snap if you weren't buying low quality cheap chocolate. Chocolate that isn't full of fat and sugar, and is correctly tempered will produce a snap and will melt slowly at body temperature.

Since being taken over by Kraft, CDM is just an overly sugary confection that has very little in common with chocolate

Agreed, I wonder whether people, like me, have switched to higher grade choc with higher cocoa %, because of the degraded Cadburys range??

That's great, but can you find this item for less? As that's why we're here, to find the best price for things. Not to hear that you don't like something.

Be happy that they haven't replaced the cocoa butter with a vegetable fat such as palm oil.
