From a full English with a coffee for £3ish to a steak for £6ish, well worth a visit on a Monday

Yes, every Monday. One for the diary, but if you don't know and nobody tells you, then you won't know will you. Which, in a nutshell, is the reason of this website.

Why, on God's green earth, would you go to a Slug for Xmas dinner? (unless it was a Monday of course) They are NOT meant for a proper occasion, it's a chain with a "cook" that can do it by numbers. You idiot!

I've not heard of this so thanks. Especially as I found out on Saturday that they do half price cocktails all day everyday in Glasgow. Will be visiting some Monday soon. Heat added.

Awful food when I went to one, and the got my drink order wrong. But half price, you get what you pay for... I'm not going to vote, it's not posh but whatever. (St Katherine's dock branch)

So we have a consensus. The food is OK with 50% off & to be fair, the breakfast is unsurpassed value.
Do not let the apprentice book a Xmas party ever again is my advice.

I had the worst Xmas meal in the history of mankind a couple of years ago at our local **** and Fetish.
Bad food, bad service, and all served with a massive draft from the wide open door of the converted chapel it trades from.. you think in a years to come they will all be converted back into churches?

This deal has been on for the last 10 years at least!
This has been on the go for months. No code required - it will probably be advertised on a board outside the venue! Sadly my local can be great one week and inedible the next :disappointed:
