Bought Ariel actilift gel (24 washes) for £1.96 a bottle. It's most likely an online glitch and very few if any (if not yet fixed) will get lucky. Here's how it worked out for me - a while ago, this: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ariel-gel-888ml-was-6-97-now-1-96-bio-colour-febreze-morrisons-2395470 deal was posted, I tried my luck then (had ariel gel in my online trolley, but as there was no stock left, it did not let me check out), so I gave up, didn't want to shop for anything else, closed the tab and did not shop online at Morrisons since (this is most important part).
So now I decided to buy a few boxes of Fosters, they are box of 20 for £10 BTW, went on Morrisons web site and noticed, that I still had load of Ariel gel left in my trolley from previous attempt to buy it.
As all was forgotten I was removing them one by one just to notice that the cost of the trolley reduces by £1.96 instead of a £5 (current deal is £5 a bottle or 3 for £10).
I decided to try my luck and check out, and it worked. I thought if it's a luck I might as well push it to the max and ordered 20 bottles, which is max amount. OK, not being a too big of a dreamer I doubted it will get delivered, but today it did, I GOT IT ALL! And for 20 bottles I paid £39.20
Will not be a deal for everyone, but that's how glitches work. I just wanted to share with you guys, as you all have saved me hundreds of £ and who knows, maybe few of you will get lucky too.

IT Systems are from Ocado. And they do the same. Leave a special offer in the basket. Come back to it later and they still honour it.
Morrisons had
a load of offers recently which went out of stock very quickly. Now they are back in stock. If they are still in your basket then they will honour it.

So let me get this right...
To obtin this deal, you needed to have an account with items of this product ordered about 4 months ago when this product was on sale at £1.96
And then you also have to shop at a store that didn't have stock at the time (otherwsie you'd have got them at the time)
And you mustn't empty your basket ...so that is why you mustn't have shopped there since the deal was on almost 4 months ago. (otherwise you'd have got them as soon as stock was available)
In which case, all those HUKDers that meet all these requirements will be able to now order that product at the earlier deal price assuming the store now has stock
(It's what is referred to by many as a rainy day voucher)

I just did it. Got some in my basket from previous try like OP said. I ordered 10 cos ariel is not my favorite but will do the job. Thank a lot mate.

Yes this also happened to me a few months back, just before xmas I had put some selection packs and biscuits in my basket as they were bogof, but I forgot all about them, anyway a month later I went online to order some stuff and they were still there, and as you say, when I started removing them, the price went down by the sale price not the full price, stupidly I noticed this and emptied my trolley, then tried to add them again, but adding them after only added them at full price.

We just need to remember to add things a few months in advance

Also worked on bold which is full price just now but was 2.96 at time of putting in basket. Not as good a deal but most probably works on everything that's been reduced in past

Makes me feel better, my morrisons delivery guy only thinks i'm an alcoholic who likes pepper as I bought 9 cases of spitfire to use a voucher & needed some pepper corns.
your delivery driver must think you get drunk and crap the bed with all that ariel!
