Well my 10 year old daughter just opened one for me!

Ha ha! Did think that as I wrote it. However, it's not a crime for her to want to open one or me to let her. Do you think it's bad that she's drunk 5 though?

Warning the twist off caps need a bottle opener to undo as they are so hard to twist off

Use a hand towel for better grip.Using a bottle opener may crack glass.

Well, we are talking (brewed in the UK) Budweiser here - so the alcohol content is probably on a par with ASDA's sherry trifle

4.8% mate. Most of the beers dropped to it after they put a higher tax rate on continental lagers, even Stella. Kronenbourg is my tipple of choice (still 5%).

Was surprised when I was served Stella draft at 5.7% at a hotel in San Diego... damn our govt!

Thought this was guaranteed to go hot, especially with the caps, must be a much better deal on elsewhere. Anyone going to enlighten me?

I think they vary. I had some that were really tough and then a few that were a lot easier. Maybe the machine was having a bad when it bottled my first lot :stuck_out_tongue:

They're bloody impossible to twist off without it hurting! The twist off ones in north america come off far easier.

Buy some here and pop over to North America to open them then!

Aldi have had a deal on bud for a while now... £7.00 for a Box of 12 300Ml (Screw Top)
The screw tops are very hard to get off, but with a towel you can get off, very hard to get them off just with bare hands, as it leaves marks on your hand.
Children would find this impossible to get off unless they used a towel etc.
This is good deal, as I have been picking these up from Aldi for a couple of months now.
Asda here I come to save 2 quid :-)

The twist off caps on these are a bit of a lottery, you get some boxes where they work as intended and twist off easily, some where you need a towel or something to stop ripping your fingers apart as you try it, and some where you need a crowbar as even a bottle opener can't get the damn things off

In actual fact, it is NOT illegal for 'a child aged five to 16 to drink alcohol at home or on other private premises'
