I thought this was a great price considering there are 10 different weight settings and 2 free gifts. Kettlebells are normally fairly expensive and can take up a lot of room if you have several - this seems like a great solution. It also comes with a user manual and exercise DVD for beginners.
The maximum weight is 11.4kg (25lbs) and minimum is 1.1 kg (2.5lbs).
Available in grey or red.
The lifting straps are automatically added but you need to add the shaker manually (and the price will be deducted). Link for free shaker http://monstersupplements.com/monster-supplements-supplements-blender-cup-with-wire-ball.html
There is also 10% student discount possible via Student Beans
For those who don't want to sign up you can purchase via them on Amazon too at the same price (although there is no mention of the free gifts there) https://www.amazon.co.uk/10Bell-Selectorised-Kettlebell-Home-Equipment/dp/B003ZKESS2

The movements are different. These are to be swung rather than lifted (although you can simply lift them, as someone pointed out further up), but their best use is to be heavier than the dumbbell you'd be using and moved through many planes, such as with a two-handed swing or Turkish get-up. You use lots of stabilising muscles, and go for high reps so burn lots of calories as well as building strength. They aren't as efficient at strength building as barbells, but they are very good with limited space and can be packed away in a way a power rack can't. Also, when the weight is no longer challenging they are still good for warm-ups or single-arm movements so the money isn't dead, and they seem to keep their value well for ebaying afterwards.

I was out the country and quite busy with work, so went ahead an ordered at the website price without price match. Even though the website was showing one in stock, the order was subsequently cancelled as there is no stock with no plans to restock.
Appreciate the link adsham!

My order was split and I only received the free gifts, turns out that interlink scanned the items and said I received both, apparently both parcels were delivered at the same time...and now I have no way to prove that I have not received the delivery, now it is my word against the delivery driver....never knew it was so easy for them to steal and get away with it.

Either they didn't send them or more likely the courier didn't realise there were 2 parcels in the order? I'd contact Monster Supplements. I once had a complaint about an order and they were pretty good and quick about issuing a refund - I'd imagine they'll just send it out again.

hi...the cap size was okay for the size of the plates that i have. so if you are not comfortable with the cap size then i suggest you get the bigger width cap.
i took 200mm single side threaded bare because i like some extra room for picking the kettle...i also use it for arm curls..so i like that extra width. but it is entirely on your preference..you can take a shorter one.
similarly you can also increase or decrease the size of the double ended thread ones...i suggest take a measuring tape and get a feel of what you are comfortable with
before you buy the pipes check the diameter of the plates you have. for me the 3/4 inches ones were fine. however pleasure measure yours.
buy the BSP threaded ones....for all items so that it is consistent. i also got confused as there are two types of threads...as long as you buy one consistent one for the pipes and attachments..it is fine

Hi mate cheers.
I'm not sure that the Cap will be big enough for you, also did you order the correct size? (1/4" is £0.37, 3/4" is £0.45).
The plates might slide off the end?
Also did you mean 100mm long for the single side threaded bars?
Also the bars state bore size and not O/D thread size which is confusing

they also have a ebay shop but on ebay they charge more.
Indeed, but you can also use it for other exercises - you can be creative
It has a different centre of gravity and grip to dumbells, so can be good for changing things up a bit.
By the way I'm not recommending one over the other - my original point was that you can't just state that this particular weight of dumbell isn't suitable for experienced users as it all depends on what you are doing with it.
brilly
3 Jun 16#70
traditional kettlebell movements are as you say, swings/dynamic moves
adsham
3 Jun 16#69
And what are the "traditional" movements? Of course you could use a dumbell.
Don't forget It's just weight at the end of the day - my gym doesn't have kettlebells so I do a "dumbell" swing  - slightly less convenient grip but does the job just the same.

I'm a 6 foot tall 13 stone bloke and use between 6 - 8 KG to start with depending on the exercise. Can use 10KG for really simple two hand lifts
adsham
3 Jun 16#61
It all depends on the exercise doesn't it? For a kettlebell swing you are probably correct but for bicep curl/skull crusher for example this would be "heavy" enough for most.

fubob11
3 Jun 16#59
for women, the weight might be ok, if not on the light side, but for men i would recommend at least 12kg to start with. The key thing with weights is that it has to be challenging and you need to progressively load. I would recommend you try lifting a bucket of water to test out the weight if you're unsure, every 1 litre of water is approx. 1kg so you can gauge how heavy this kettle bell can get which is less than a full bucket at max.

Heat for a grow a deal as adjustable kettlebells, or weights of any kind in fact, are normally much more expensive. Can't help feeling that the lifting straps are a but incongruous though - if you're using an 11kg kettlebell it's highly unlikely you're going to be deadlifting the kind of weight that would necessitate the use of straps.
If you had flab i'd say you were already eating too much food

adsham
2 Jun 161#12
It depends on the type of exercise surely? I'd agree with you for a kettleball swing for example, but for a single arm lying tricep extension or bicep curl this would suit a lot of "experienced" users - as I say it's all dependent on the exercise you are performing.
