Wolfenstein®: The Old Blood is a standalone prequel to the critically acclaimed first-person action-adventure shooter, Wolfenstein®: The New Order. The adventure, which spans eight chapters and two interconnected stories, features the hallmarks of MachineGames – thrilling action, immersive story and intense first-person combat. As war hero B.J. Blazkowicz, arm yourself with new weapons such as the bolt-action rifle and grenade-launching Kampfpistole as you attempt to thwart the advancing Nazi war machine, and take advantage of duel-wielding pipes that can be used for wall climbing – or for vicious take-downs of never-before-seen Nazi adversaries.

Completely agree. People are also free to tell you your comparisons are useless.

Finally got around to playing New Order recently. Wow, what a great game. Enjoyed it from start to finish. Like an old school FPS but with modern twists. It just worked in every way possible. The story was brilliant too. So will deffo pick this up at this price when on PS4.

Not much value??! It's £4.99 for crying out loud!
You finished it in 8 hours because it's a standalone expansion rather than a full blown game, hence why it's always under a tenner. Comparing it to Fallout 4 - a full game that's five times the price of this is just plain silly.

Difference is Fallout is ****, this is too but not to the extent of Fallout.
Hours playable doesn't determine how good a game is or how much value for money you get. 1 playthrough of The Last of Us was around 12 hours and that was a whole lot better, more enjoyable and more valuable to me than any GTA I've spent around 50 hours in, regardless of price

I was a huge fan of The New Order but enjoyed Old Blood even more - its great fun picking the zombie soldiers off with head shots in the second part!

I paid £8 the new order and it was fantastic if a little old school.

Would you play in the order of the release, or the order of the story??
Recommendations?

This game is incredible value for money and also extremely fun! I knew this was an expansion as such (prequel to main game) but it lasted longer than some £40 games I've bought. Can't recommend enough. Heat.

Both wolfenstein games are outstanding, worth their retail 'value', which is rare, I would advise any fps fan who has somehow missed the boat on them so far to enjoy them all the more knowing how little they payed for such a dreat experience. You may even feel a little guilty....
Nah maybe not lol. I hope they continue what has been an outstanding franchise in wolfenstein and continue to be as kick ass

A couple of things....people are free to make comparisons....my point is that you can spend a fiver on this for 8 hours or you can spend £13 (not five times as much) on a game that could keep you busy for over a week of playing time...
Yes its good value at a fiver but there are things out there that give better value....

Amazon also did both (new) for £5 each at the same time I seem to remember. I bought them at Argos because I could collect. I don't get computer games pricing at all.

Neither of them games retail at £5 it was a one off at Argos. The price hasn't gone up it has come down. I think it was £13/14 at launch.

I got this new for £5 from Argos along with Dishonoured (also for £5)- why has the price gone up??
