I got this, but can't find the DLC code for it. Should it be in the box somewhere? I don't think I got an email or anything.

does it come with a code for downloading the game or is disk only?
yeah, been playing through the first 2 in co op legendary with a pal who had never played em before and its been great.. apart from the bugs.. i mean, i dodnt get some terminal achivements yet i get the one for all terminals! wtf! (i got them all btw) not to mention the lobby issues.. they did do a lvoely remaster on Halo 2 though..
as for halo 5, bargain at this price for anyone who hadnt picked it up yet. lots of "good community created free dlc" via the forge maps. (no seasonpass **** with this one)

Good deal, game is solidly made (at least compared to the mess that was MCC), but at the expense of features and a really poor campaign. The core multiplayer is great, though shame Warzone is employs too much F2P BS for it to be fun e.g. stat-modified weapons such as the the aforementioned rifles.
Second that, still instability on both single and multi, not to mention the cut-out features and lower population counts doesn't do it any favours. It's still kind of a mess that 343 have abandoned in favour of halo 5.

I'm taking multiplayer, not bothered with campaigns as I've done em all before.

i beg to differ, i recently got round to my playthrough on Halo MCC and there are still lots of issues with the campaign at least (achivements not unlocking) and the checkpoints not working...
very annoying when your doing it on Legendary.
still love it.. dont get me wrong... but these things are just not acceptable in a game in this day and age.
but i think theyre not going to be fixing the issues now, if they havent already...

Is this halo any good for only playing solo player out of curiosity?

Lol, the campaign is garbage. The multiplayer isn't much better either tbh. I only ever go on it for custom games like fat kid. MCC is the best game to get for Single Player Halo.

It's not bad, really is a training ground for the multi player which is brilliant. If you can play online then get it, so many different game options all of which are great fun

Works really well now yes, but if you like halo, halo 5 is brilliant. But that's my opinion and I ain't played the campaign.

I didn't get i until a couple months after but its worked fine for me since I've had it, i did hear that it wasn't playable at all for quite a while.

I'm enjoying the Halo 5 multiplayer. I like the REQ system in Warzone; suddenly seeing all sorts of tanks and flying spaceships zipping about makes it pretty exciting.
Single player campaign seemed ok. I prefer multiplayer so haven't given it much of a go.
For less than £15 I'd say this is a good pickup.

Thanks mrgimmie. I'm rather new to xbox one, only jumping in a few weeks a go. Appreciate your advice, and think I'll give it a miss. I did find mcc a few days ago in a cash generator at a stupidly cheap price, so I'll enjoy that and await halo 6 (maybe). Thanks again

Does MCC actually work now? It was an absolute mess in the weeks after release (matchmaking completely broken and campaigns buggy as hell), enough to make me sell the game and the console!
