A portable WD hard drive for £27.99? Yes its re-certified but based on my own experience (maybe lucky) I have had no issues with my previous two purchases.

2tb for xb1 sweet spot. Free games with gold each month plus full game installs huge.
Plus pvr functionality sometime this year. This is a great price but though if you don't need much storage.

not a great price, not 2TB which is best value at the moment, refurbished could be a year old, WDC refurb sometimes never ship and is a hassle to cancel. Totally not worth it, just go to asda and pay £38 for the 2TB.

Tempted to buy one for my iptv box so the wife can record some stuff.
I have bought one of these before and it was very hit and miss what devices decided to detect it so I'm a bit unsure.
You can shout goose chase at me all you want, these come up pretty much every day.

be very careful buying these used/repaired hard disk they call "recrertified!!" I know 2 people bought them and both failed within 2 months..loss of data and so much pain.Avoid.

Why would you bother when you can get one with a proper warranty for a couple of pounds more. It's not even cheap.

The warranty and money back guarantee periods are clearly stated on their site.

Good deal  Always worth checking the WD store, they often have very keenly priced USB drives.
As for recertified, you could look on it another way - it has actually been tested  A lot of new PC hardware hasn't been through that, the failure rates are low enough that it's cheaper to handle the return of a faulty item after the fact on a lot of items.

Would this work in a PS4?, is it compatible?

Not if you intend to take the drive out of the caddy and use it internally in a PS4 - think it has a fixed USB3.0 connector interface soldered onto the circuit board.

As I said I may have got lucky in the 2 I have had in recent purchases. Had 1x 1tb and a 1x1.5tb one. Both OK so far (touch wood!!)

Though seriously, there was a 2TB posted for a tenner more yesterday that wasn't used.
