Try rubbing in Danish oil every once in a while. It helps to bring out the wood texture and helps protect against stains and marks. If you ever get marker ink on wood, use toothpaste (not the gel type) and rub it into the mark. Leave it for 5 mins and wash it off. It'll bring the marker ink right up :smiley:

This is slightly better quality than what's in B&M. I have this coffee table and we went to B&M as was wanting a side table to match it and the difference in quality between the matching side table at B&M and the coffee table I purchased elsewhere was massive. They look exactly the same but certainly not of same quality.

B&M's have this stuff in and we've bought a fair amount else where. The Corona stuff is SOLID. brilliant for the money. Only small issue we've had is that it gets marked/stained easy (we have 3 kids) but it all adds to the charm of them, they look more rustic now. Heat added at that price!
