What BS is that? That its isotonic, high in potassium, nutritious, hydrating and tastes nice?

mattsokolinski- Simple carbohydrates are made up of one or two sugar molecules. The three single sugar molecules, referred to as monosaccharides, are glucose, fructose, and galactose. These single sugars combine with each other to form disaccharides, which are:
Complex carbohydrates, also known as starches and fiber, are polysaccharides and oligosaccharides, which are long chains of sugar molecules
Not all carbohydrates convert immediately to "sugar," or more accurately, to blood glucose. The digestive tract breaks down the long chains of sugars in complex carbohydrates into single sugars.
Maybe you should put your energy into listing deals on here instead of slamming others.... Or that's right, you've never posted a deal on here yet.

before we even start a conversation about coconut, you need to learn the difference between scientific evidence and quackery.
but i will send you to this http://askforevidence.org/index webpage where you can ask yourself.
And how is potassium not water soluble when you can pee it out?
the fact you say that carbohydrates turn to sugar proves you don't know what you are talking about...
just because its on google doesnt mean its true... when you go to a university, start a medical degree maybe you will understand

Hello, this is 21st century, we can find out ourselves by 'Googling' , who cares?!

Really? Care to point me to a single, published, per-reviewed piece of research that shows 'health benefits' ?
Lots of 'research' does not constitute evidence.
Coconut water is just another cleverly marketed waste of money (and it tastes foul).

Of course he's talking out of his **** The potassium contained in one serving is equal to approximately 12. 5% of the potassium value of a banana. He talks about having sugar....Coconut water contains carbohydrates which inevitably turns to sugar if required. There are numerous research papers highlighting benefits of coconut water but like with most things just drink in moderation. Great deal heat.

There is no evidence whatsoever suggesting that coconut water has any benefit to your health.
What nutrients does it have? Water soluble vitamins that you **** right out with next toilet the run? By isotonic you mean not rehydrating..
You want something really hydrating, glucose pinch of salt and bicarbonate of soda (add sugar free squash to taste).
High in potassium? Do you know what it can do to your body and kidneys?

No, that's BS to be honest.
That's like saying eating fruit isn't good for your health.
Sugar free squash is really bad for your health.
The potassium levels are fine. And potassium isn't water soluble.
Why the heck would you advocate an unaturally made unhealthy drink consisting of processed concentrate with artificial sweetners, likely heavily refined salts, and refined sugar, over a similar profile obtained naturally without the artificial sweetners, and arguably a much nicer taste? Bizzare.
This is a bargain at 44p.
There's plenty of research supporting the health benefits of coconut water and coconut in general.
There's loads of evidence that artificial sweeteners are terrible for you. They apparently can even trigger an insulin response!
