Very cheap deal to Las Vegas flying out on 30th may for a week from Glasgow direct flights return 6th June.
The circus circus is a basic hotel but you are never in your room long in Vegas.
There are other options and hotels i.e luxor for £561 but its not worth paying the extra.
Probably around a £250-300 saving.
Long haul travel includes meals & luggage.

Why do TC and others bother with circus circus , it's a huge dive , they must buy the rooms for buttons . As you can get rooms here for $25 a night . 90% of the cost is for the flight . Even the stratosphere , Rio , SLS , are far better.

Totally agree Yozzman, imagine driving down the strip on your first visit then getting dropped off at Circus Circus!!

Yes but if your the type of person who just needs somewhere to place your head at night then its ideal.

Flight alone is £469 so your getting the room for free pretty much.

As above (not knocking there's a deal here) but circus circus is an absolute dive by vegas standards. Stayed there for 1/2 nights as main hotel didn't have enough rooms at the time for whole week. Anyway, never will i go there again. one day we had to walk to the strip in the roasting heat as no cabs arrived after 40 mins wait. Also, cheap places attract cheap people. No more rednecks for me.

Circus Circus no thanks never, pay the extra and stay somewhere better.

But for what you are scrimping on the cost of this dump you will forfeit more in taxis to the "more popular" part of the strip. Unless you want to be catching the Deuce back and forth everyday which I would most definitely not!

The whole package is cheaper than the flight so if anyone didnt want the hotel just dont turn up

I would say the Luxor is worth the extra we stayed there last summer and loved it, taxis always available, lovely and clean inside a bit off centre but I walked it comfortable early in morning and taxi back.

Have to agree with others. Luxor would be well worth the extra money for personal safety alone

For a group of lads, who want to p it up for a few nights fine. For couples, just dont do it - it's in a very dodgy part of the strip. Save up a bit more and go more 'main' strip, Caesars, Mirage, Venetian, Linq etc.
In fact scrub that comment on the lads - I would not want to be walking round there late at night.

Calpsy I've been many times thanks. As said before even for the flight alone it's cheap where you wish to stay is your own preference and if you think the £100 upgrade is worth it then yep it's still cheap.

Luxor definitely worth an extra £100. Not even close.

Circus Circus is not too bad as base, stayed there in 2014 and they'd recently refurbed my room. The lobby floor is an absolute dump though, full of timeshare sellers and $1 stores. The location makes it the worst MGM hotel as it's right by the shady side of town. Sad.

Stayed in casino tower @ c.c in September just for two nights nothing wrong with it at all have stayed in many of the hotels along the strip and downtown the room was very clean/tidy no issues at all ,after all I don't go to vegas to sit in my room all day casino is dated but slots dod pay well there is a deuce stop outside and encore was within walking distance so all in all not a problem for me

As above, do not stay at Circus Circus.
If the flight was free but I HAD to stay at Circus Circus, I would turn it down.

Has the strip turned THAT bad since Christams last year? I've been to Vegas 8 times now and stayed in Circus Cirucus a couple of times, Riviera a few times, Tropicana, Treasure Island, Excalibur, and MGM Grand, and Stratosphere. At no point have I ever felt unsafe at the bottom end of the strip and I've walked there late at night almost every night i'm there. It's not a great hotel but if you want a bed for the night then it's absolutely fine. Bus stop right outside (both ways) and the rooms I've had have always been clean and no issues

Well said. I wandered around that end of the strip and never felt unsafe

It's a good price for a week in Vegas, so heat added. But in my experience the £100 to upgrade to the Luxor would be money well spent. Circus Circus is not a nice hotel and is quite a distance up the strip.

Nevermind its a dive, but it's just too far from the action!
