Along with being one of the lucky few who managed to pre-order the hardback collector's edition guide with coin at 13 n half quid months ago I even ordered the 'Uncharted Hardcover Ruled Journal' at a decent price off a Marketplace seller on Amazon last night so am going overboard on Nat's hype train here :laughing:

Totally understand you. I do love uncharted but my all time favourite is MGSV, so my console is a red phantom pain, I do own 4 different copies of the game, collector guide and collector's edition of that as well as a few unofficial bits and bobs. :smiley:

If so, there is also 5% cashback from shopto. That should help reducing the costs too!

I wish the would make the touch pad a different colour too... on the 20th anniversary one it was the only thing that put me off. The black just ruins the look for me.

Oh wow! Love your controller collections mate. I do also have 5 for PS4 but 3 are sealed. I love boxes, love to keep them sealed, lol. More than a gamer, I am a box collector, lol. Did you change the joysticks on PS4 controllers yourself or you've bought them customized or is it an extra bit covering the original?

They are stick covers called KontrolFreek, I got a few unopened packs of them lying about but seeing I only just moved back to the UK from Austria everywhere is a bomb site and a lot of my gear is sat in a storage container in Ongar because my flat is so small and where we've moved my mum back to is also tiny.

Once everything is settled down a bit more, we shall be looking at selling both flats and buying house a a wee bit further out, I'll be able to have a dedicated man cave or 'brat bin' as I call it for all my gaming gear then.

Talking of controllers I need to import myself one of them crystal clear DS4's from Japan, they are the mutt's nuts

They are actually quite decent for loads of gaming accessories, I got these matching stands I got here for my Halo controllers from them a couple of months ago hmmm think they only cost about 6 quid each.

Hahaha thank you, I have to admit getting that stand for the Master Chief controller was what twisted my arm to take it out of it's box. I been on the lookout for a suitable matching stand for my Elite controller too but with all the chaos of a trans European move over the last couple of months I not had much time for gaming, let alone time to go hunting around for one

That said all the Xbone gear is here at me mum's(notice the suspect lace decor below the telly) whilst the PS4 is back at mine, I'll have to swap consoles about next week when Uncharted drops, luckily I got one more device available on my Sky Go Extra allocation so I suppose I'll register the Playstation too as I need to that live test cricket in my life :man:

And yeah you're right it's the Vader one indeed, I got it from amazon.fr at a decent price when it launched about 6 months ago and I have seen it going for loads more in recent times. It's only ever been out the box to test it worked and then straight back in so never been used :smirk: one purely for the geek clutter collection that infuriates Mrs Loyal so much and thus is sat in a storage container at present hohum

Nice, I also use KONTROLFREEKS, they have been good apart from the fact they tend to slide round after a while and need adjusted. I have thought about gluing them on to the thumbsticks.

Thank god The Witcher 3 collector's I got last year is one I kept sealed :disappointed: I wish I'd have bought a couple more because it's price new has rocketed very quickly for some reason.

I been buying them for years, like back in PS3 times, so have always liked using them. I've noticed the do split round the edge/rim from time to time.

Because I had bought some PS4 Freeks before I even got the console itself I never had that analog stick rubber issue so many others had, I love em.

Or does it just come in a standard blue DualShock 4 box?

Apart from ShopTo, I've only seen that packaging on US sites, everywhere else in UK seems to show a standard box.

Standard packaging unfortunately, I even called them moaning about it and they said some come in 'promo boxes' but some don't.

When I pointed out this was misleading and most irritating to those of us who bought them for collection purposes they said they'd change their library images and to be fair it seems they have.

Pretty disappointing though. I had ordered one from Amazon US but box arrived damaged. Guess I'll now get a replacement from them rather than order from a UK retailer. It's a daft thing (as most things are for a game collector!) but I really want that special box.
