Sell a game after playing it? My god who would do such a thing? I mean there's zero chance that happens with other games too...right? Also - Yeah let's take a handful of buyers you know that sold their game after completion and assume millions of others are doing exactly the same, that makes sense - that's logical.
While were throwing sense to the wind lets also ignore what all the major gaming websites are saying too; they obviously don't know what they are talking about handing it all those high ratings for it - it's a conspiracy I tell you!
I've played a lot of games in my time, probably all the biggest game releases there have been starting from the snes/megadrive to the current gen consoles so I do have a good knowledge/experience base with games.
I'm playing through U4 now myself and it doesnt disappoint - I'm not sure what you were playing to form your opinion - you sure you didn't accidently put your copy of COD:black flop in by accident? :smirk:

31 May 162#74
People sell it because the main element of the game is the single player story. Not hard to grasp.
It's such a pile of poop that it's the highest rated game of this year so far, yeah, it's proper ****.
The truth is COD has been garbage since Modern Warfare 2. When a new COD scores an average of 93, get back to me.
mephestic
31 May 161#73
Actually you can play it on crushing - its simply a another color and can be selected (try it yourself)
but nice try.

31 May 16#72
I'm guessing thats why people sell Uncharted after one playthrough and people literally playing COD for years. The only pile of poop is Uncharted it seems as people drop that like a hot potato after playing the story. Millions of people would not be playing COD games for years if the gameplay was poop like you say it is.

If has so much replay value why are even people who have said they brought it and enjoyed it but still choose to sell it after they finish the story? Uncharted games are the definition of no replay value. Also if you think the gameplay of Uncharted 4 is phenomenal then you haven't played many games as its as shallow as it gets. I have played this myself so I know how overrated it is. Gameplay is shallow, the pacing was awful as theres barely any shootouts or any major setapieces which was at least something the previous Uncharted games did well but they stripped those out and even the story was awful as the advertising made it seem like their was going to be a massive storyline like a betrayal but nothing really happens.
Spoiler. In fact I find it hilarious how this Sam character almost got them killed and lied to Drake and wife and friend yet near the end randomly they are like friends as if nothing happened.

27 May 16#67
Incorrect.
This game is made by the same developers as Last of us who happen to be arguably one of the best gaming development studios there is currently, has already won praise from review websites and will undoubtedly have fantastic replay value - I love all my uncharted games and go through them every year so they feel new again because the gameplay is phenomenal - But your lone opinion against the masses and professional journalists in the gaming industry obviously outweighs them.

But it's only the multilayer you can play for years! So add the cost of yearly PSN/Xbox Gold subscriptions to the cost of Call Of Duty and it's pretty expensive. For this I'll happily pay £35, complete it in a few weeks and sell it on for £25ish. £10 for the experience is fine by me

Paid £60 for the special edition and would happily have paid double that for it! Got my platinum last week and felt the game was much longer then all previous 3. There isn't another game that can match the story, visuals, polished gameplay and character likability. Easily the Best game of the current generation so far, followed by witcher 3

It's disappointing to read that people just blaze their way through the game and then never replay it. You guys miss so much. There's so much detail to the world crafted by Naughty Dog that it's a shame that people rush through it. I always replay them at least once more and notice a lot of details I missed during my first playthrough. Plus, I played Uncharted 2's multiplayer for almost a year and it was amazing.

I did my first play through on crushing...there are probably 2...maybe 3 max places that are really difficult. But even so, still really fun. I think the game plays much better when you're not just blasting through without a care in the world.
What's really annoying however, is that there is a 'glitch' that allows people to get the crushing trophy without actually playing the full game on crushing difficulty.

I completed this game just over a week ago. Amazing, I've played a lot of games and this tops them all for overall experience. I'm currently playing Doom which feels like a massive let down after playing this game, completely different games, but nothing fills the void left by Uncharted 4.
How they managed to produce those graphics on a PS4, looks as good as any game I've ever seen, the best looking game so far, rivalling Rise of The Tomb Raider. In fact due to the attention to detail in the graphics and the physics, it looks better than Rise of The Tomb Raider, as there's so much detail you miss certain aspects, like the animations getting in and out of the car and how the other characters respond to you, what I mean is this game has a natural feel to it unlike any other.
