Ditto, I got round to watching American Gothic for the first time since I originally watched it way back. I thought it had aged well considering its now 20 years and was still a great watch, lots of stuff I'd forgotten/missed as well.

I looked this up and as I suspected you need to watch the film after as it gives a lot away (being that it was made after both seasons of the show)
Looking forward to watching this, I like these weird shows! American gothic was another weird but great show!

Any advice from those who have watched this series and the (prequel) film...should you watch the film first or not? I've read mixed views on-line and don't want to read too much detail in case I end up reading a spoiler!

I did just think watch the film first but from what I have read is that if you do there are so many references to the series it will go straight over your head and you won't 'get it'?

I'd welcome suggestions from those who have seen the series and the film as to what to watch first.
