The toys are back in town and at last they've got a video game to equal the brilliance of the movies. You can relieve the story from the new film if you want, but there's much more to this game than the usual film tie-in.
The best bit of this game is the exclusive Toy Box mode, where you can play as Woody, Buzz or Jessie in the role of Sheriff in a toyland town. This mode uses all the same characters from the films but gives you complete freedom to play with all of them however you want - from exciting car (or horse and dragon) races to catching ghosts.
One special element of the Toy Box is magic goo that can change the size of any of the characters, which together with all the other collectable objects lets you completely customise the town, and the world of Toy Story, however you want.

Loved this game & playing it with the kids. Levels are a bit tough for younger kids but toybox mode is great. Get this game if you like Lego games.

does this mean it's going to be on GWG? Always wary now, at least it would only be £2.24 this time... o.o

my kid (3) is getting interested in games, but not quite grasping the controller mechanics, but has now mastered the trackpad and buttons on a laptop

It was the basis for Disney Infinity, which although it's just been cancelled, is still worth a look.
this recieved excellent reviews and can be enjoyed by all age groups. My disc got damaged by the kids so this is a steal at the price shown! Thanks.

I remember playing Toy Story 2 on my Dreamcast 16 years ago. Running around as Buzz trying to collect all the Pizza Planet tokens in the game. Having to revisit levels once I'd gained certain power-ups (like the 'Grappling Hook') to collect previously unobtainable tokens. Really enjoyed that game, hope this is as good. Thanks for posting.

My daughter was 4yr old and just liked running around the town and changing the characters outfits etc. It's very similar gameplay to Lego games with split screen co-op in the toybox and lots of things to search for/races/tasks. Easily in my top 10 of PS3 games if not all games too.
