I have played and enjoyed The Uncharted collection and am currently play Uncharted 4, but Tomb Raider Remastered to me was more enjoyable. Uncharted sometimes feels clunky and awkward and I never got that feeling with TR, it felt much more fluid with tighter controls. They have both been inspired by each other but are different enough. I loved the upgrading element of TR, it reminded me of Resident Evil 4 in that respect. My only disappointment with this game was that it's ending felt like an anti-climax but I am very much looking forward to playing the sequel this winter on my PS4.

It maybe worth holding off on this one, I have a feeling Sony is going to follow Microsoft and offer this free with PS+ as and when Rise of the Tomb Raider is released on PS4.

almost, but not quite. uncharted was different in many ways to the original tomb raider games.
the tomb raider reboot was a clearly inspired by Uncharted.

Yes I know but from the little gameplay I've seen it just looked to be copying uncharted almost to the letter.

similar to uncharted, but different too. it's a reboot to the tomb raider series and it's a boss game. got it free on ps3 PS+ ages ago but tempted to get the ps4 version too at that price

bren26, it's entirely different and for me a lot better. Much more gameplay relative to UCs great cinematics and scale. Pick it up , you won't regret it.

Tomb Raider was its own thing mostly until the 2013 reboot. (This) The reboot and onwards borrowed more and more from Uncharted and then Rise of the Tomb Raider borrowed more from The last of us, but yeah for the price decent game

It's got a lot of similarities to the uncharted series but I would never put them in the same league as Lara has no personality, game play is top notch, but very generic.

IMO this was way better than Uncharted 3 when it launched, killer graphics and gameplay. Uncharted 1-3 feels very rugged and doesn't have the fluidity Tomb Raider had.
