It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp.

[quote=BuzzDuraband]Such an emotional film, the connection between the two lead stars was second to none. Honestly loved it from start to to end. Heat added, FD. Cheers ]
The problem with the film it suffers with the same issues as Batman vs Superman and Civil War. Too much was shown within the Trailers. Plus the ending scene with Rhino was a major disappointment..... Go on youtube find honest trailers and see amazing spiderman 2 you will see what I mean. But new Spiderman looks like they have got it spot on.....Civil Wars Spiderman was beyond perfect..... Voting Hot pn Spiderman 1.2

Thought it dwelt FAR too much on the lovie duvvie stuff. It was it's let down long term. They got the Green Goblin better than the other attempt with Toby Macguire. Shame, as they were leading into the Sinister Six too, going by the end of the movie, with DocOck arms Vulture's wings etc enclosed behind glass

Was quite impressed by Tom Hollands appearance in Civil War too, and liked the post credit scene with him (spoiler alert)............................................................and the spider-beam or whatever it was that Stark had put onto his spider-web shooter shining on his ceiling like the comics - great !

Could have been worse but hey, it's watchable at the very least. Good thing Sony isn't handling the Spider-Man films anymore because they've done enough damage with this mediocrity (Sony still has the rights to distribution though).
