Use your data, texts and minutes in any of the 31 European countries! Great if you're going on holiday. Do not need to opt in or anything, just have to have used contract in uk before.
Yes has been already posted but been given thumbs up after reporting it to try and get it deleted (did not know till first comments on it).

Yes I might agree with you if they did a feel at home bundle but Turkey is only included in their Euro zone 2 which is £3 per day or part of.

Just make sure you manually select '3 Italy' or 'WIND'. Then you should be okay. The Vatican is relatively small and those 2 networks should cover the Vatican.

I think the point being made is that Vodafone's roaming plans do include Turkey.

Not necessarily true - I am seeing conflicting info, but a tripadvisor thread suggested that there is a network & three suggest that it is not feel at home listing it in their roaming destinations.

You must be on either a phone or a table to take advantage of Three's deal. Not an assumption.

The terms and conditions are from Tesco. Regarding tethering on Three, they definitely immediately block you if you try to either place the sim in a modem or if you try to tether an iPad to a mobile. However, tethering a mobile to another mobile acting as a hotspote has never been a problem. I am guessing it is the same on Tesco given some people are saying it works. I would love to know if the Tesco SIM works in a modem.

Not abroad they don't, this is about international roaming. And 3's Feel At Home is currently the best deal. Nobody mentioned tethering. Totally irrelevant comment.

Getting confused with which networks are being discussed here in which posts. From experience...
Three do not allow tethering when using their 'at home' data abroad. We've managed to get it to work once (a glitch?) but generally it just doesn't work. We have the unlimited data contracts on all of these which work great in America, but the Euro countries available are limited.
Tesco mobile do not seem to have any restrictions on tethering - I'm currently tethered to my son's phone on holiday in Holland, where we've had up to 3 phones and an iPad successfully tethered to one Tesco sim all week (£20 for a PAYG with 8 GB data bundle. So far we've used 2.5gb in 4 days and that's with fairly heavy browsing use and a few hours of Google maps sat nav, just no video streaming).

According to their terms tethering is not allowed?
"General Terms:
14. Tethering / Hotspots will not be available to use whilst roaming in the Promotion Countries."
You show me where you can get 12gb of internet for £20 in as many countries as this.
You're comparing apples with pears, again your assuming I'm using a phone, I never once said I was using a phone. It's the best deal currently.

EE and o2 allow tethering and hotspotting abroad: I know as I've used both.
Tethering is irrelevant to you. Some people do need it as they don't solely want to use the internet through a phone....

You can tether on tesco Home at Home, as long as you have a 3G/4G signal. Tesco Mobile Twitter team confirmed this.

People make things up to make others think they are bright. The EU Brexit vote has nothing to do with this because even if we vote out things will not change for 2 to 10 years after we apply to pull out. All thes companies have their own rules at the moment due to the EU roaming rules not coming into force until 2017 and the companies want to look good in the eyes of the consumer. Most offer a maximum amount of use outside of the UK and these vary company by company.
jdanjoux
30 May 16#37
Yes Vatican City would be included, because the Vatican does not have it's own phone company and uses Italian networks. This was the case when I was using Three Feel at Home and it worked absolutely fine.

It is EEA sort of (but yes Europe would be better; includes Canaries to my surprise, but excludes Monaco, San Marino, Turkey) & also only until 3rd September. Hot deal, but detail missing.
Key question for some would be does it include Vatican City? Could be an unholy mistake to assume that it is included! Also be wary that when in a border area, you can connect to a mast across the border.
I would suggest that anyone using this in a marginal area triple checks.

I'm in Holland right now and the Tesco deal was a godsend! We have 4 Three Mobile contracts in our house with unlimited data which is fab for travelling to USA, France, Spain & Scandinavia (which covers most of our holidays) but not the Netherlands.
Went to Tesco last week, bought a PAYG SIM card with £20 credit (which apparently triples to £60 for calls and texts) which then bought a bundle of 8GB data. Stuck it in a spare iphone and we've been successfully tethering our 4 phones to it all week. So pretty much unlimited use (apart from not letting the kids download video!) for 4 of us for £20.

Only 20% of Turkey is in the European area, so why should it be included, and they are not in the EU God forbid.

It is worth saying that the old Red plans were better for heavy data users. I'm in Belgium right now and I've taken my entire 20GB allowance with me for three pounds per day. Even on the most generous new Red plans, one only gets 4GB internal roaming and top ups are really expensive. £15 for two gigs, if I remember correctly.
Coreydeals
30 May 16#27
Not entirely true. Their base Red plan includes 500MB of European roaming. Up to 4GB. Although, still not your entire data allowance, but at least it is capped.
Vodafone inclusive roaming gives you unlimited minutes, texts and picture messages, plus a monthly data allowance of up to 4GB, to enjoy in 40 European destinations within our inclusive roaming zone, with 4G in more destinations than any other UK network.
