I didn't want to spend a lot of time checking every market,I normally check retro punks blog but he has fallen behind recently and I couldnt find any of deals for this so posted it.
I have a question with buying in other markets can I buy a season pass in say the Russian market if my game is a uk digital version or physical uk disc version?
even though its cheaper if you buy abroad its still a good price if you use the uk store only. heat added

Indeed and for this reason heat added, thanks op.

I've given it heat but purchased it from Argentina for 4 quid. Russia is cheaper but I'm lazy and had my card already setup for Argentina on my live account.

What have you used for your address on the Argentina store?

I am still confused about the whole VPN thing, how they work etc. DO I need to install something on my machine or can I access them by logging into a website if I'm at work etc. Does the download process on the console change? Do I need to change any network setting? [/stupid questions]

no need. grab the DGP app (digital games prices). type in the name of the game you want and it tells you the cheapest market for the game.

I used the Hilton hotel in Buenos Aires. I also used Vietnam as Vpn address on Vypervpn as Argentina did not work. Very strange, but it worked a treat.

It is still correct even when the deals are on, and do you know the answer for my other question?

Yep, it's always worked for me and I've bought a fair few DLCs and Season Passes from different countries.

You can mix and match whatever you like. I bought (for example) Rocket League from Russia, but then Russia was being horrid recently – and when I wanted the batmobile – I bought it from Argentina instead.
You can even foreign market add-ons for games you bought locally. Ive had BF4 since I bought my Xbox (paid £54.99 for it!) and I bought all the updates from various regions as I went along.
No software is required – and checking prices is super easy. Everything can be done from a mobile phone.
DGP App (available on Android/Google Store) shows all the prices for the things you fancy and tells you cheapest market.
VprVPN App (available on Android/Google and Apple Store) is the most widely used (although data is capped at 500MB now and *not* 500MB per month. However, it takes about <1MB of data to complete the transaction – because essentially 1 page load!)
Revolut App (available on Android/Google and Apple Store) will also allow you to order the physical card which is sometimes handy.
For example.
I want Battleborn.
I use the DGP to search for it – and it tells me its cheapest in South Korea.
I click the link in DGP and it loads Xbox.com – but Korean version. (Most phones will now offer Auto-Translate).
I sign into my Xbox.com account (if not already). Then the page is ready to go.
I clear all my cache for Chrome/Internet from my phone.
I load VprVPN and select Korea (wait a bit for it to connect and hold fire for 20 seconds to see if its stable and doesn’t ‘Reconnect’).
I switch back to my Chrome/Internet page and refresh. So now it thinks im in Korea, im signed in and im on the page ready to click “Buy from Xbox Store”
Click the link, loads of the “Payment” page. Add the Revolut Card details and an address from South Korea (Google Head Offices work perfectly and have never failed me). Include Post Code, Telephone etc etc.
Click pay.
It will either
1) Take a token/pre-auth payment to check the card (you’ll get a pop up on your phone saying your card has been used). It’ll then show you a summary screen. Then, wait 30-60 seconds, and then click the “Pay” button. The payment will go through and you will see a Korean “Thank You” screen (because auto-translate doesn’t work on pop up screens).
2) Take a token/pre-auth payment to check the card (you’ll get a pop up on your phone saying your card has been used). It’ll then show you a summary screen. Then, wait 30-60 seconds, and then click the “Pay” button. You’ll then get the PBR0002 error (or “Use a different card” error) and it will stay on the submit screen. Wait a full 24 hours, then repeat the process (however, your address will now already be preloaded and when you come to click “Buy from Xbox Store” it will now take you to the pay screen instead of the add card part. Then complete the transaction.
The ‘awkwardness’ of it all is the turn this on and off, the clearing of cache, the switching back and forth etc etc.
I have it on my tablet now too and I use multiscreens like that.
But once you’re set up for a region – its lightning the next time. No pre-auths. No waiting. Just done!

Season pass is good actually. The two dlcs are decent length and very funny. If you enjoyed the main game you'll enjoy them. Plus you get to fight with Bryllcreme in his mech suit!
