Started playing this the other day. Looks amazing and plays well but, as with most multiplayer games these days it suffers the following drawbacks (for me):

1) it's pretty brutal and bewildering for beginners
2) an outrageous amount of content is locked behind DLC pay walls
3) the single player content is basically non-existent
4) it's very grindy
5) £40 season pass?! F**k off!

It's sad that so many games are released like this these days. At least it's fun to play. There's nothing quite like floating around an arena as Darth Vader throttling rebel soldiers and chucking your lightsaber at Princess Leia.

@darkspace. I waited 6 months before I played TitanFall and by then they have given loads of updates thus adding new stuff. And when the map packs became free, TF was all I played and for me it is the best online shooter since COD4. The movement and gameplay is fast and tight and I could not go back to any other online shooter as they were way too slow. Pppl are still playing TF and I have 1500 out of the 2000 achievement Gamerscore.

TF is much better than BF and TF2 will be even better.

I got EA Access until October next year so I'm gonna wait for this to hit the Vault.

Only wanna play the air battle mode and horde style mode.

Played the beta and hated it. Its just shoot, die, repeat.

Thats why I buy COD games. People hate on them for being recycled but the value and content the games have is amazing. Theres a reason why so many play them for years while people abandon games like Titanfall and Battlefront like hot potatos.

Finally at the price it should have launched at. There has to be a law set that price should be set by the content a game has. Could you imagine the reaction from EA if that happened? Most of their games aren't worth the price their games are printed on.

I had 10 hours free on this but it was so bad I had to give up on it after an hour! Typical EA game - the same old repetitive drivel year after year with no real thought put into it. And they couldn't even think of a new name for it!

Don't get me wrong - if you enjoy running around the same boring map again and again doing the same thing for countless hours without any kind of story, you might like it!

I used to really enjoy the game when it first came out now the loading times have just gotten silly. Heat for those who haven't tried it yet, you will get enjoyment out of it for that price.
