Yes, it would be a good deal but it isn't always on so after three months, you go back to paying £10/month, wait another three months for the deal to begin again, and by that time this works out cheaper :smiley:

My 3 months for 99p deal ran out a couple of weeks ago so I went for the free 6 month deezer option and then the 3 month for 99p deal popped up again - it comes up often enough, the only pain is that you now have to have a different payment method, as opposed to just using a different email ady as it used to be. I'm afraid this is going to have to be cold for me, but for those out there who can't be bothered to set up new accounts it might be worthwhile

So, forgetting Eastern European hacks for a moment (glorious as they may be) just from the perspective of somebody that already has a Spotify account and has had for a while...
I 've also just spied this email but could I just check whether anybody has any experience of it? I currently pay for Spotify as do both of my sisters and my parents. I'm sceptical as to whether we could really reduce our monthly bill from £40 to £15... Please tell me whether I'm right or wrong, thank you!

I really love Spotify as a service, but the windows application has been nothing short of total rubbish for years and years now. Between them constantly removing features (including ones they bragged about adding!) and the absolutely hilarious bugs like the Spotify processing breaking and crashing when you sleep your computer (posts about it on the forums for months, but fixing bugs isn't 'cool' I guess), the user experience has been nothing short of a train wreck.

Just got the premium membership for 9.90 turkish liras a month but the first 3 montha is 99 kurush (like penny)only. Spotify website says u can use ur peemium account worldwide so it makes it like 2,2 pound a month after the 3months which im paying 20 p a month. İ have done the payment with a turkish bank card with no issues but my friend tried doing it with a british card and the price goes up.
Also when i tried paying it at first alltough all was in turkish and liras the payment page appeared in pounds so i just had to open a new account and done.

It's not particularly a loop hole, you get 50% off https://www.spotify.com/uk/student/ by having an NUS card (or Unidays). However, almost anyone who has ever walked past a university qualifies for a NUS Extra card.
