Yes they made me wait 18 hours and now offer me it for £45.61 even though I put it in at £32.50......Flubit done with me. Probably knew!

Lol if you're thinking of going the Flubit route, to be on the safe side in the future, place two orders. One with Amazon, and one with Flubit. Supposedly the Flubit one comes through at a lower price cancel the other! Vice versa. Use standard delivery so it gives you time to make your mind up, as these normally tend to take longer to pack/send out than prime.

I wish someone had mentioned how bad they were :disappointed: I waited and now they offered 47 and the price has gone back up on amazon. soooo peeved.
I am guessing the person from the first comment may be working to promote flubit
This has it for £8.99 obviously would need good speakers too

DONT bother with flubit on good prices like this they are terrible, they will surpass the 4 hour window making the countdown pointless, once the price shoots up they will offer you cheaper than the new higher price in this case now that its £50 they will offer £49 or so by which time its not a saving anymore. Only use on items that don't change price very much.

Well peeved off. Been reading about buying Prime trying to decide if I would make use.
Finally decided to go ahead and was waiting if Flubit could do better....Thoughthe I was tired of waiting and will get Prime and get the speaker for tomorrow after going to view it in Curry's.
Now gone up to £50.....Guess with all the links through from this site they shoved price back up. Well peeved off as was going to use amazon music with this offer.
How likely will it come back down? Guess I've well and truly missed the boat....hate impulse buys and now missed the boat.
Now the search begins for an alternative.....and if I should bother with Prime now tssssk :o(

It's a Bluetooth speaker. Life will go on without it in your life.
(However, if it provides you with some succour, this deal seems to come around every 3 weeks or so)

Highly likely to be your phone, friend has an xperia z5 compact which skips on both this speaker. And her larger Bluetooth home speakers it's at its worst when switching between apps while playing, so a memory issue.
My z1 compact plays it seamlessly on two sets of these and her home speakers.
I got my x2's as a gift, at this price I'm tempted to get another set.
They're amazing, the quality and volume is amazing for such a small unit.
I wanted the x3's I think (square unit) as they're more powerful than these, but I really cannot fault the smaller unit.
We have some in my friends car as well as her cd player has packed in and the radio gets annoying, they have flown from the dash about the car a few times as the sticky pads we use to hold them in place get dusty and lose their stick, but they still work perfectly. She's just taken them on holiday with her.
Brilliant little speakers. Nfc is so simple as well. Very convenient.

Aptx is supported by some devices, you have to have the codec on both sides .I.e the receiver and transmitter (phone). It's supposed to be HiFi like quality and alot of the quality doesn't get lost like A2DP

Probably worth mentioning that this doesn't appear to support the Apt-X codec, which is a shame.

So for around the £50 Mark, would this be the best to get.
Wanting something that I can take on holiday for side of pool that would be loud enough and also for in the garden.
You can get cheap non named products for £10 but are terrible at a decent volume.
How does this sound at a decent volume. Is the clarity impressive for a small garden or around a pool at a villa. Or is it just good enough for a bedroom indoors?

The person who was having music skip issues was using an iPhone...
whackydre
14 May 16#27
Skipping can happen if you bluetooth your music over via a android device.
Best to download an app like Dont Pause, as this will then cut out the interruptions from you device and play the music seamlessly.

You tap your phone (or whatever NFC device) to the side of the speaker and it auto connects. No need to rummage in settings to select the correct Bluetooth device etc. A nice feature (though NFC isn't v.widely available, so kind of wasted)

Definitely sounds like a problem with the device you're connecting to it, and not the speaker.

regards to the battery, it's stated as 5 hours but this is at full volume, you should be able to get 7-8 hours at normal volume.

I have this and can confirm the battery life is excellent. I use it when i'm in hotels. One of the strange features is hand-free/speaker phone via bluetooth which comes in very handy.
You charge this with a standard micro usb (like all phones)
