I found this in the clearance section. There are some open box sets available. Normally open box TV are new sets (Just the boxes have been opened to test the contents) with all the accessories. They are available at many locations.
I purchased 55JU7500 last week in an open box clearance sale, it came with all accessories and 6 years warranty.
I am not sure whether it is included or not. You can ring your local store to find out if it is included. I got Samsung TV on clearance sale and it said online that there is 12 months warranty but they offered 6 years warranty when I went in store.

Yes, it does. But you might be able to get 6 years warranty in store. I got 6 years when I purchased clearance item!

I've had the black box installed on one of these through kodi.
If it's just open box and not refurbished then you should get 6 year guarantee. The first 5 years are supplied by Sony anyway.

Better to install spmc than kodi. Blackbox/paradox is horrible

So, if I had a PS4, Bluray 3D movies and this TV, is that enough to watch 3D movies or would anything else be required? Beyond that, what other sources can deliver 3D content?
Thanks in advance.

You got lucky there, the 10% off the advertised price for VIP finished a while ago.

Hi, which branch was this from, there seem to be fewer and fewer left (mostly only one in stores that actually have them), and wouldn't want to go to the same as you, if it's gone.

you can check on their website in the clearance section and it will list how many and whether they are open box or refurbished, then give the shop a call to reserve.

Just ordered this TV @ £799. Anyone know what the cheapest and best 3D glasses are to buy? I would like to get some asap but I'm not paying £50 a piece!
BTW My order was emailed to me and it states at the bottom that Open Box means ex-display so it's hardly a quick box opening to check the product is working...

£799 would be a brand new set. Mine gets delivered tomorrow, as always a great service from richer sounds.

I realised I ordered a new set. That's what I wanted. I was asking about cheap glasses and also wanted to make those aware that the cheaper price is in fact for an ex display model.
