Great deal for an internal HDD upgrade for the PS4. Once you've opened up the casing of the drive, you're left with a Samsung Spinpoint M9t 2.5" drive, currently £78.95 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Seagate-Spinpoint-Internal-Drive-ST2000LM003/dp/B00MPWYLHO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1464551932&sr=8-2&keywords=m9t+2tb. For a tutorial of how to open it and load it into your PS4, follow this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkIyCXbiGZs. You're saving so much money going with the backup drive and prying it open over the standalone internal drive, which is £25 more!

A good point. With most of these internal drives, if you are careful prying them open, you can use them as a case for the old PS4 drive. Lo and behold! You have increased your storage space and have yourself an external hard drive for the lols.

Once you use a SSHD in a ps4 you'll never go back! Sadly this isn't one!

The biggest slim SSHD drives are 1TB though. If you want capacity then this is a great deal. These drives are still faster than the stock drive

Does it actually make any difference? I'm sure I read at launch it didn't.

I actually have one but I'm in the other boat, I don't find the boost from the SSHD all that obvious and would rather have more space and am seriously thinking of swapping the SSD back out and putting one of these in!
Wouldn't be a problem if Sony would enable external storage for games...

One of the best things I did to my ps4 mgs edition. Reordered this as I need one for my laptop

Yep. Fits the PS4 just fine. Never realised it was a 7mm drive until I googled the model number after installing.
