Tenner less than I paid. Heat. Perfect size if you do more than browse the net on your computer.

Believe you *can* get free P&P if you have a certain forum account, or something like that

Bought one of these last week for the same price on Ebuyer, cloning the old drive was easy and the performance increase over the old HDD is fantastic

Not for me as this is the "plus" version but it is a nice price for what it is.

Free postage for orders above £50 if you have a AVForum account.
You need to do a phone order though so they can apply the free PP.
Maybe use an incognito tab to avoid issues with cookies tracking the click through from elsewhere.

Shall I go for this or a Samsung 850 evo? I've seen a 240gb Samsung for £66 but unsure of which is better performing other than the capacity

it's a decent drive. seems to make my system cpu temps run hotter for some reason (despite clean win7 install) but at least it's reliable. One thing however, it does NOT run at stated speeds. nowhere near. yes I have ahci * I would say it's half the speeds

These are back on the 'today only' (ahem) and a smidge cheaper at £73.80, but....
Sandforce controller, I know they had issues before and 'maybe they're ok now', but...
They also have a Sandisk X400 512GB for £99.59 which has a Marvell controller. I've had another SanDisk SSD running for a good while with a Marvell controller without issue.
