Nice but reading some recent 1star reviews suggest there's been a bad batch with higher than usual failure rates.... having said that, I've had 4 of these and all been super relia

Great price and I'd much rather buy from Amazon than be at the mercy of eBuyer's customer service (or lack thereof).
Also, if you can get Amazon's NUS discount, that takes the price down to £71.24, which I think is the cheapest 480GB SSD we've ever seen...though I could have missed one somewhere.

No you're right... Cheapest ever with extra NUS discount. I manage to resist as currently own 3 ssds. Heat added.

Agreed Ebuyer are dreadful, but we are getting to the point, if we aren't already at it, where Amazon have a complete monopoly .
We all know what happens then. ....

We've been at that point for years. Basically anything Amazon feel like being competitive on, they are. I think we're too far down the road to stop Amazon essentially having a monopoly on the sale of "stuff" (for want of a better description of what Amazon actually sell), we just have to hope they don't turn out too evil .

That presumes that no one else can undercut them if they raise prices - which of course they could if Amazon prices were higher. Worry not - Adam Smith's invisible hand will continue to work as well in the future as it has in the past!

I went for ebuyers to help fight against monopolisation.

I bought two but Quidco have tracked them at the pre VAT price of £62.50 each. Is that normal cause I havent noticed that before.
