I had a 4 and the Mrs wanted one as well in white I had the 3 before and seen a red 3 for sale so bought that and gave her my 4.
main diffs are battery lasts longer and better camera. otherwise not much.
it is worth having the 4 tho just for battery if you use it a lot like me!
It's a lottery on condition but I've tried for one in original package but packaging damaged. Which I think is probably the best one?

This is the 1st phone I've had where I've not been drooling over newer handsets, a year into the contract.
I just wish they'd hurry up with the Marshmallow update already

I had this phone and loved it and moved to a Nexus 6p which is a great handset but I'm gonna go back to this and flog the Nexus 6p which means I could end up about £200 up in pocket as well as back on this great device! I miss the pen, sd card and removable battery.

Tempted but I'm quite happy with my Note 3 and there doesn't seem to be a way of rooting this without voiding the warranty (Knox 0x0)

Box damaged - In most cases you will get item in replacement brown box or box will have a lot of stickers from repair centre.

All the others described scratches on item apart from one that said repackaged, it's a lottery so if it doesn't work out its easily returned.

I used to have this phone and loved it. Probably my last Note phone (Had the 2 & 4) though. I never manage to integrate the multitasking and S-Pen functionality in my daily usage and doubt I ever will. Probably go for the Iphone7 line up next.

Don't worry about tripping Knox...I've never had warranty repair issues on rooted phones (even my Knox tripped Note 4) If and when you need a warranty repair simply apply a little voltage to the Sim contacts using a AC adapter with the jack plug clipped off....1 min later you have a fried phone that will never boot again ready for repair under warranty haha

Received a message from Amazon 28 hours after ordering saying..
We regret to inform you that we have been unable to source the following item:
Our supplier has informed us that this item is no longer available.
This despite the fact that Amazon were in fact the supplier (with several available at the time of ordering) and they still had the cheek to despatch the S-view case that I bought at the same time. As usual Amazon staff showed their complete ineptitude. Apparently they had sold the same unit multiple times!
Absolutely un-f*cking-believable!

tascheman to scooter
15 May 161#80
Are you using the charge
Are you using the charger in the box? I started off using an existing 2A USB charger but it was slow. The one in the box is a quick charger.
Or try turning it off? May be using power faster than it can get it?
i was using the cable with my pc that i use for my S5 will try the one out of the box thanks for the reply

16 May 161#84
try using the Ampere app from the play store
The app measures the charging/discharging current of the battery. If your phone is not connected to a charger, you see the discharging current which is negative. If you connect a charger then the current what the charger gives will be used to supply your phone and the remaining power will be charged into the battery
should give you an idea of what cable and what charger are the best to use !

Small scratches on the back of item (less than 1/2 cm x 1/2 cm). Missing Memory card. Missing Headset. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy."

I got mine yesterday. Just a question did you get a fast charger with yours? I got a charger that looks like a genuine Samsung one with mine, but it does not fast charge (it's definitely the charger as I have tried my desktop fast charge and car fast charger and both work fine), I might complain to Amazon about the charger sent to me not being fast charger, as its really annoying for the phone to charge 3.5 hrs or so...:disappointed: otherwise, phone looks great:)
Bigsmoke825
16 May 16#90
Just make sure quick charging is switched on, on the phone?

By the way when I try to return the phone here comes the message from Amazon in the final step: "We'll refund up to £4.75 in return postage costs once we receive the item. "

I spoke to someone from Amazon on the phone on Sunday night and he told me they had sold each item available multiple times. He claimed it is a known glitch in their system if they receive a sudden influx of orders for the same item.
Of course he too may have been lying and they may have listed product that they didn't actually have in stock, who knows - either way they have majorly f*cked up!

Well, I had a go (after checking Kies again with no joy)... and bricked it :disappointed:
Even Kies wouldn't recognise it afterwards so I had to do a rescue in Kies, using the part number (SM-N910F) and S/N (printed behind the battery)... Guess what... It installed Marshmallow!
Why it would push Marshmallow for a rescue but not an upgrade, I don't know but it's on there at least
Might be worth a try for anyone else who is impatient - just be aware that Kies could not restore a lot of stuff from the backup after the upgrade so another backup method is recommended.
