MicroSDXC card from Samsung. This is the "plus" version of the card so should offer faster read/write speeds to the standard "Evo" cards. Good price imo.
I referenced in MB (megabytes), not Mb (megabits).
In real-world usage, USB 2 is generally faster than all SD standards below UHS 3, but not by the huge margin alcurtis93 was suggesting

Not sure how you're benchmarking it all, but my SD cards go way above USB2 speeds (some do 30Mb/s and some 60Mb/s).

True, but no normal computer can get even close to USB 2's max interface speed because of heavy overhead.
USB 2 has a maximum speed of about 60MBps, but in reality it usually tops out at around 10-13MBps for most people.
Now compare that to SD cards... A 10 rated card averages around 7MBps and a UHS 3 rated around 18MBps...
These are my personal experiences, but it lines up with plenty of other sources if you want me to dig them up.
The long and short of it is the stats on paper are not even close to real-life usage

Yes but that's what I'm getting at. It can't even hit the max of the last gen standard...

USB 2? heh. USB 2 is old and slow. If you are comparing the latest SD card you should compare against the latest USB standard

£4 for Amazon's super-slow, non-Prime delivery on an item this small and light? Amazon's current policy of coercing customers into signing up for Prime, and punishing those that don't with this sort of nonsense is pretty shocking TBH.

Barely been above £18 all year, £15-£17 seems to be the regular price now.

Heat for the price, not a bad card but the 4k writes on this are pretty awful tbh. People seem to average 0.5-1MB/s

anyone knows how I could figure out if my laptop / phone would be able to make use of the faster speed (faster than a regular EVO)

No SD card can hit even close USB 2 max interface speeds
