Curved monitors are great for seeing a good picture at all angles - you know, for when you're sat in the same one position at your desk right in front of it at all times....

Correct : no. Any half decent monitor compensates for this without feeling the need for gimmicks.

I assumed that a curved monitor is better when you're sat it one position. If you're positioned left of the screen, then the left side of the curved screen will be at a sharper angle than it would be with a flat screen. No?

You need to make sure you're selecting 'amazon.es' (2nd one down) as the seller and not a third party seller.

When i follow the link, it states "Sorry, the seller does not ship to UK (main island) More information".

I have the 27" version of this. the curve is so small it's mainly for design, no benefit over a flat one.The stand at the bottom gives the allusion of a larger curve than the panel actually has.
Nice monitors though

well I can see how this would be good for gaming; if you have 2 or 3, you could put them next to each other in a beautiful concave layout, and with you being supposed to be able to see at all angles, thanks to the curves, this could work quite well. I'd love to test this idea but don't have £260/ £390 spare right now, and my flat monitors work just fine.

I have the 32 inch Samsung qhd monitor from cex for £200. Ebuyer sells for £450. If I upgrade then it will have to be for 34" 21:9

I was only giving my opinion as an owner of the monitor, I didn't say it was factual it was just my own opinion and it suits my needs perfectly.

Not trying to discredit what you're saying, but almost any screen you buy will have overdrive settings these days. It's no more suited for gaming than most screens.
It's a fairly standard VA panel, with high overdrive to get the 4ms claim, all at 60Hz. It will play games as well as any other low end panel, but let's not get carried away with it being 'perfect for gaming' :smirk: - so is any screen that displays an image if we're going on that criteria.

Have this monitor myself use it daily. Has a game mode built in and you can set the response time to fast, so perfect for gaming. Really recommend.

Nice price for a curved monitor.
Im not sure the value of a curved monitor at 24inchs I can see it at 32+
But heat added all the same for a great find.
