Wouldn't waste your money on these even at 49p, the handles on mine bent with not a great deal of pressure.

Anything by Rolson isn't worth bothering with. Useless 'tools' that will break on the first use. Avoid if you actually want to use a tool to get a job done.

It was more a post for people who may need that little amount to her past the £20 mark, for 49p you aren't going to get the best in the world are you? :P

Looks at toolbox and notices a couple of torches, some screwdrivers and a pocket wrench set which are years old, have seen loads of use and have Rolson written on em...
Tools are as-good as the person using em...

£2.55 is cheap anyway for a pair of pliers. Mine cost £28. They will be rubbish though, you have to expect this at that price.

That's not true. Tools are as good as the materials and construction allow them to be. Much like every other manufactured thing ever.

These don't come with any Rolson branding so I'm not convinced that they are Rolson.
Anyhow, I use mine for the most disgusting job known to all mankind; removing hair from the shower plug thingy. It works well for that purpose and I keep it in the bathroom. 49p well spent for that purpose.

Btw they are cheap and tacky. The hinge is poor. The handle isn't comfortable. And the metal is soft. But for my purposes it's 49p exceptionally well spent.
If you actually want pliars for the purpose they're made, spend a little extra.
