I bought one yesterday, it was actually already charged and working but definitely had not been used before. It is feels very good and as margamboy says sturdy and well made. I have now used it and I am very please with the result (so is the wife!).

Ignore the charge and usage times, in the real world that we all live it's basically for me shaving 3 times a week a charge every 6 weeks and then it's just left overnight and ready by morning, no problems whatsoever. The kit itself is really good, sturdy and well made, feels good in the hand and comes with all the heads you need taking it from 0.5, I paid £19.99 and would pay that again so for £16.99 it's a proper bargain .

Is it decent for a bigger beard (like 2-4 cm long)?
Just need to keep it in shape, my current battery powered one is rubbish.

Bought one of these in January and only had to put it on charge for the first time last week... only use it a couple of times a week to even up the trim the beard - it's great.... definitely worth the money.

I've had this trimmer for past 3 years. It comes with 2 attachable heads, 5-15mm and 0.5-5mm. Gives an even stubble.

amazon offers newer model which is £41.67 del (from Germany)
so this one is older model
camelcamel have current amazon price £29 del as lower end of price range - so i think thats why its cheap and pretty good value at argos (tho its only £3 off usual price)
amazon review avg 4 stars

I had this. It was great, but the battery died within a few months. I got a replacement and the same thing happened. It's a waste of money.

just wait for it to grow back to .5 in a few weeks, bets paying for razors
All human hair grows at the same rate. (Which is about half an inch or 1,25 cm per month)

Isn't 0 if you take out adjustable head?

just take out the adjustable head and use it, you'll get your 0.5
I got one of these from Argos, battery life looks great so far
