Mine just arrived and exactly the same problem. That was after several attempts to turn it on, it kept going immediately to the setup menu.

I've just arranged to return it.

besford is the guy in comment#12 who ALWAYS mentions lack of viewfinder and ALWAYS mentions AA batteries.... until now :man:

Bridge cameras are not ideal for everyone but this one is very good for what it is !! At this price it may be worth a punt

I had two of these last year, both were sent back due to turning themselves off when you try and take a photo.

Bought the x50 version of this from them just over a year ago
and they sent this did offer me a discount so I kept it
disappointed with it
and then the sd card broke in the slot(just bad luck I think)
never had any other problems with refurbs
In fact they have what I ended up with on offer as well another £20
but well worth it
