You're not transferring anything but you can download the game, play it and get all the trophies and all that on your main account regardless of what other account you buy it on. You go on your CA account, buy the game, download it, then you swap back to your main UK account and play it on there once its downloaded.

Yeah, I think you might be right, dude. I didn't mind paying a few quid more for the very slight convenience of not having to cannibalise, but ultimately the same thing.

And indeed, especially with these Canadian sales, I've amassed a ton of digital content. It's great being able to switch between them at will. As I've mentioned elsewhere before: future generations will scoff at the idea of physical copies, and digital prices should fall accordingly.

The innards of the Seagate I'm fairly sure was a Samsung HDD. It may actually be the exact same unit as per your link. Either was it's great having all the extra room :sunglasses: Only problem is I've developed the habit of collecting really cheap digital copies of stuff I already have on disc, as I love the convenience (and obviously the deals).

Slightly off topic but it maybe how I have my Ps4 positioned - but some games can be noisy with the disc whirring away. Playing Uncharted 4 this morning chapter 8 and nearly put on the subs as I was struggling to hear the dialogue over the sound of the disc, another thing that makes digital attractive.

No slicing, dicing or cannibalising required. Just slide the hard drive cover off, lift out the old one, pop in the new one, and connect a USB stick with the firmware. It's ridiculously easy - with official instructions from Sony, too (obviously they're more than happy for you to add storage space and buy more games; everybody wins!).

£55/£60ish. I'm fairly sure it was this one. I did it last year when the MGS V limited console was released so as to put it in there. Argos and Amazon both do it for £59.99. Argos sometimes have a £5 voucher back with £50 spend. Amazon link.

It was a matter of cannibalising the outer casing, using a Stanley knife to slice around the top seam. I'm not really that fantastic with taking computers and stuff apart but done mine with a fair amount of ease for myself and a mate as well. Just needed a usb stick with the relevant software so as to install it when the ps4 is booted back up.

Here are some instructions I posted alongside a deal a few months back. Someone recently pointed out you can use the '.' trick with gmail addresses e.g. I could have [email protected] for my UK account and [email protected] for my Canadian; they're actually the same address.

Anyway! Here you go:

I created a Canadian account a few nights ago for Firewatch, and took about 20 minutes from scratch. Here's how:

1. created a brand new Gmail address

2. created a brand new PSN account using my browser, with some random Burger King in Toronto as my address, and verified via the new Gmail account

3. signed up for a brand new account on PCGameSupply and verified via text

4. bought $20 CAD on PCGameSupply (via PayPal) and waited a couple of minutes for the code to pop up

5. set up the new PSN account on my PS4, and set my machine as primary (it actually prompts you to do this)

6. went onto the PlayStation Store, and redeemed my code against Firewatch

Thanks dude! As if I haven't got enough to play with Uncharted still going strong, but picked up Killzone as I do want to play and despite some 'mystic mogs' it hasn't quite made it to Psn yet! Also Bread, I like tge developers, scrabble as a good introduction for the kids and majes scrabble on holiday more interesting as they will pick up the rules quicker! Also Journey ( on ps4 it shows up on your download list once purchased for ps3) as I enjoyed Flower the other day and I like short game experiences, kinda therapeutic! Absolutely great prices, heated.

It's worth noting, and after looking online I see I wasn't being as pedantic as I thought I was, but TGC seems to suffer with some horrendous screen tearing on the PS4 and some silly drops in frame rates. Although I do tend to look out for this and most times I can learn to live with it, it genuinely stopped me playing the game in this case.
