Following a hugely successful release on Steam’s Early Access program, Codemasters® is bringing DiRT Rally™ to Playstation4, Xbox One and Windows PC (DVD) on April 5th 2016 with additional content.
Built by Codemasters and road tested over 60 million miles by the DiRT community, DiRT Rally is the ultimate rally experience. It captures the essence of what makes rally unique like no other game – that sense of trying to remain in control of your emotions, as you hurtle along dangerous, undulating roads at breakneck speed, aiming to squeeze everything out of your car whilst knowing that one crash could irreparably harm your stage time.
Every stage tests you differently, as you race on the edge of control across varying surfaces in a range of environments such as snow, ice, tarmac and dirt and as you tackle a variety of weather types. As the car suffers attrition, you need to account for mechanical damage whilst your dedicated rally team tries to keep you competitive with time-limited repairs. Stages string together and each rally becomes a marathon-like test of concentration and skill as you trust in your co-driver, chasing that ever-elusive perfect run.

Was playing this with a mate at the weekend. Spent a good few hours doing the Rally Cross tournaments and absolutely loved it. 4 or 6 cars flying round short tracks, thrills, spills, pile ups and good laughs.
Not the easiest of games but love the challenge. The rally's seemed hard as nails at the first go.

Thanks, just ordered. I was sniffing around this the other day at Smyths for £42 so a nice little saving here. Worried about how difficult it sounds..but oh well

It really is fiendishly hard, started off and on the last stage of one of the first rallys I binned it and had to retire. If you're after an arcade experience then the online stuff is OK but if you have no patience then this isn't the game for you.

I got it on Xbox One a few weeks ago. I find this game way too hard, Greece roads are so narrow, I am falling off the road so many times. You just cannot make a mistake in this game.
Regret purchasing it at the first place, will trade in soon.

OMG the Stratos! I was so looking forward to driving such an iconic car then found it would go nowhere forwards. Evo X is nowhere near as good as I'd imagined either. I agree Germany is easier, but the block paving bit is really slippy after huge grip everywhere else. Love Finland, crest over crest into big jump over crest 200 haha!

If I want it same day I don't have much choice. Normally I get games a few days before release, so fine by me if its £40-42

I find Germany one of the less punishing locations. Greece in the RS200 is just mad! Impossible in the Stratos, any RWD car for that matter.
This really is the Dark Souls of driving games. Refreshing though if you're willing to put the time in. I'm still terrible at it but it feels amazing and probably exactly how a group B car would end up with me staging it!

Who pays over £40 for a game in the first place, even when pre-ordering.... yet alone a game that is weeks old
Still too dear for me... I can live without until its around £15 mark in a years time

Haha yes! I had to double take, usually when it's a blind, fast turn! I need to be brave even when the countdown is running at the start....way too cautious as times! :disappointed:

Yes and I was brave, but ran out of talent. German stages over the crazy paving! Find Greece absolutely hardcore on a PS4 pad.

Love this game but it is brutally, brutally hard. Especially with a controller in anything not made in the 60s. Nothing in the slightest is forgiving and for goodness sake, DON'T CUT!

I've heard it's best to turn the sensitivity down on pads? I had a go on the PC version with a PS4 pad and it was wild.

This is an excellent game, it is the best rally game since the early Colin McRae games. Been working my way through the Championships (up until Uncharted 4 came out), havent tried the Hill Climb stuff yet. Not overly keen on the multiplayer track racing, personally think Driveclub is better for that, but for Rally this is brilliant.

Excellent game- probably the best rally experience since the early Colin McRae games! Hard as nails and very punishing on mistakes! Rallycross is good fun. Hill climb seems crazy- though I haven't played much of it! Hot deal!
