I never agreed to any credit scheme. I paid cash in full. A credit account was illegally set up in my name seveal months later, to recover the balance of the revised price. If I had ignored it that would have damaged my credit rating. This happened to thousands of people at the time.2

Because you put the deal online? Don't be so silly. If you are paying £6.50 don't expect these to last.

If they already opened credit account for you, cancelling your order won't automatically cancel the credits facility. You may need to call customer service to cancel the facility.

I decided to go for the slightly more expensive 15 knife set @ £14.30. Seemed a better deal and more modern looking all black block.

Do you have credit account with them ? If no, they might have opened one for you. When the goods is delivered, you pay online with you card or ring customer services .

Be carefull. This company is Littlewoods. They have been known to increase the price you pay several months after you bought it. The balance is then charged to a credit account which they illegally open on your behalf without your permission.

You don't need to have their credit facility. Watch carefully while checking out not to tick their credit payment but your personal visa / MasterCard for instant payment.

Place the knife blade against the tip of the sharpening steel at an angle of approximately 20 degrees. Pull the knife down and across the steel, describing a slight arc. Repeat this action on the back of the steel to sharpen the other side of the blade. That's the solution.
