I was going to get one of these but when I needed it, it was not on sale so I got a telescopic 3.4m one of eBay for £59, lighter and slightly more portable, but doesn't do the funky folds etc. I'm sure that will come in handy.

I bought the Aldi version a few years ago for only £29.99. It's OK but it has safety catches on both sides which you need to press at the same as pulling it to extend which means you need three hands to extend it. A bad design from that point. It was worth what I paid but no more.

3.6m is unlikely to get you high enough to paint above your upstairs windows.
