Heat for the deal, I have the Time Steel and love it. But folks might need to know that Pebble just launched 2 newer models on Kickstarter.

For those backing the new pebble. Enjoy the extra fees.
I make it around an extra 60-70 dollars on top of the listed cost.
I wish pebbe had sorted eu safe shipping.

Great deal, but I just backed the Pebble Time 2 on Kickstarter as I need the bigger screen.
Decided the Apple watch will never have what I need in terms of battery life, water proofing and the buttons I use for controlling my audio.
Just put a new strap on my pebble classic as well.:disappointed: it looks brand new, these watches are indestructible

I have a pebble and I wish to goodness they would do the same watch with a touch screen . It is so on ergonomic jabbing buttons repeatedly , I can't help thinking it would be a dream to do everything by swiping the screen . But they seem to have locked onto this format , to hell with usability rather like apples one button mouse

Touch screen would kill the battery life, which is one of the best things about the pebbles.
I got my Time Steel from the last kickstarter - amazing watch. Just backed for the Time 2

The buttons are an advantage in usability. You can map apps to the upper and lower as shortcuts. Do things without looking. But I agree, as I said in another thread, scrolling gets tiring with these buttons, I think it needs a scroll wheel and the buttons. A finger would cover the touchscreen.

Glad I could help. The seller seems to get more stock every other day so definitely keep an eye out.
Also f.y.i I got my pebble time now and it's great. Came with everything. The box is a little blemished, but there isn't a mark on the actual watch nor the charging lead, which is what counts really

Out of stock on that ebay seller at the moment but thanks for the link I'll keep an eye out for when they get stock again.

Cheers... had a look and ended up going for the Garmin Vivoactive watch on there for £100. Good deal I think.

It already lets you reserve on Kickstarter in GBP, they add £14 to the price to ship to UK and convert the $ rate to the £ rate, so a good deal. Like you say I'd expect them to be a lot more expensive once actually for sale in UK stores.

Both I and my wife have the original Pebble & it's great - but no way would I buy one again. Too limited in functionality compared to Android Wear or Apple Watch. BUT for under £80 they are a great way to see if the investment in a fully functioning smart watch is for you - as long as you are happy to put up with the ubiquitous screen tearing issues that plague them...

Remember to request even more money off at Flubit. I got an instant offer of £76 but I'm waiting 4hrs for a better offer of up to 15% off. I'm hoping for under £70.

good price. I was going to get one the yesterday for £83 but instead backed the kickstarter for the pebble time 2. I then got myself a second hand pebble time off eBay for £30 to tide me over until the time 2 is hopefully ready by the end of the year.
In case anyone is interested, I got mine from here:
I've been following this seller for a few days and he posts a lot of pebble watches every day. usually £30 second hand and £60 new (opened box)

Have you tried gadgetwraps? I use them for skins for my pebble which they do straps for as well, so probably do similar for your watch.

Good price. Got one a few weeks ago and think it's great.
One question though - anyone know where you can get a decent strap for it, as the one it comes with is a bit of a dust magnet?!

I've got a time and it's great. Get one at this price. Spec of time 2 is okay but not worth an extra £70-£100. Get this then wait for time 2 to drop in price too...

These have a microphone too and the heart rate monitors aren't supposed to be great on watches either - better off getting a chest band if planning to use with exercise.

They are, they have microphone, you can use your voice to reply directly to messages. They also have a proper activity tracker too as well as heart rate monitor and much more. I'd recommend anyone getting one since it is in dollar prices on kickstarter as instead of retailing at 179 dollars it will retail at £179 in the UK most likely.
