You are an astronaut awaking from cryonics not in the solar system, but... out there... in a far and unknown place of the galaxy. In Out There, you will have to survive, tinkering your ship with what you can gather drifting in the void, and spot garden planets to refill your oxygen supply.
Space is an hostile place ; dangerous and mysterious adventures will mark each step of your travel. You will not only meet intelligent species that won’t care about you, but also deal with ancient powers linked to your destiny and the fate of mankind itself.
Survival and understanding of what is really at stake in the galaxy is the core of what Out There has to offer.

There is, to many people's annoyance, still no Android version. :disappointed:

Just in case anyone's thinking this game is anything like FTL, it is not.
FTL is a gameplay-focused tactical spaceship combat game, with a deceptive depth to the nuances of attacks and defense, and is almost entirely skill-based.
Out There is a story-adventure, with an extremely limited learning curve and an overall dependence on random luck.
They do both, however, feature space ships. :man:

I would buy it but I won't have enough space on my phone. I'd be kicking myself if I got it then couldn't play it.

I really enjoyed this. Well worth the 10p, I paid full price for it and still feel I got far more than my money's worth.
If you enjoyed FTL don't miss this.

Good game but bloody hard at first. Pro tip use 10 fuel for all drilling and satellites and if you can, in rotation collect resources. Also pen and paper helps with alien languages! Oh and any Omega you collect can be used as resource for anything your ship needs. Don't waste your iron preparing a ship unless it really needs it as you might encounter a new ship or get a free repair.
