Why people want nfc? If its for Android pay opo rom and cm rom on the original are not working with android pay. Loads of information about it on the Web. Only android approved os let you use android pay. Also people with root have issues as well.

Its a error within there internal code: Inventory reduction failed
At the moment, only PayPal is accepted and there seem to be a few tricks you need to try to get the payment to go through correctly.
OnePlus Loop VR ordering issues
For a start, the main Loop VR link will only let you order one in the States. However, we found that if you go to oneplus.net/uk/oneplus-loop-vr instead, it let's you order in the UK.
In addition, the continue button after choosing payment didn't seem to do anything for us until we entered our billing address separately - even though it's the same as our shipping address.
Doing both of those things worked though and we've had confirmation our order has been accepted.

Two shipping options are available. You can pay £2.99 for 3-7 day delivery, or £9.99 for 1-3 day delivery. The Loop VR headsets will start to ship on 6 June.

30,000 isn't a massive amount of stock, admittedly, but when you consider it's free and the amount of hype around it - I think OnePlus have done pretty well.
Worth remembering that the 30,000 to give away is WORLDWIDE. Some will be allocated for the India Amazon orders, no idea how big the Indian market is for OnePlus, but assume 25k for the rest of the world.

They go on about rewarding loyalty and all about their customer base etc, so having bought all 3 OP devices plus various accessories direct from them, they have all my details at the like, would it not be best placed to try and reward people like myself who have supported them from the start. I probably would still not have got one and tats fine but at least it would have been their loyal fans who would of received these. I can see from the above and other sites that people have pretty much just signed up to get these, some even several, to sell on. No beef with them at all but just with OP and the way they go about their PR and marketing. Even make it 1 per customer, or sent out to those who have bought previously etc.

Indeed! Cardboard is cheap, but still offers a basic VR experience. Even if this is half as good as the blurb suggests, it'll still trump cardboard by some way, for the price of a large coffee. No brainer. Thanks again for posting, TheUrbis! :smile:
I ordered one when they were first released, but its funny how some people are reacting to not getting them, especially on the oneplus forums.
One comment someone said they'd be costing at least $100 dollars each to manufacture - doubt it!
Others saying its bad how loyal customers have been shafted and they are boycotting OP now etc.
Similar basic VR headsets are available on ebay/amazon for not much more if people want one that much.

The plastic sits on my nose and is quite uncomfortable, will add more foam round that bit.
Picture quite blurry but my phone is too small really (Nexus 4).
And the google cardboard app is kind of hard to control because it expects a button (magnetic I think) but a magnet touched near top corner seems to kind of work...

Mine arrived this morning and I've been getting to grips with it.
It's a solid bit of kit and doesn't feel flimsy or cheaply made as I thought it would be being that it was free (plus shipping). It's all plastic with straps and foam around the inside for comfort (though on mine the foam looks ever so worn, but, it was free).
The eyepieces can be slid left or right to suit and my phone (I'm using an aging Samsung Galaxy Note 3) slides in and out of the front with a bit of pressure. Unfortunately my phone was slightly damaged during use - a thin bit of plastic next to the volume rocker came away, HOWEVER, as mentioned it is an old phone that has taken some beatings in its time.
Nicer than a Google Cardboard but I wouldn't pay any of the ridiculous asking prices on eBay for it.

Edit: found quite a lot of apps that don't require any buttons. It's been an interesting day with the device so far.

The magnet button is part of the Google Cardboard unit, the Loop VR doesn't have this button, however, I've read that all you have to do is use a fridge magnet to activate your phones sensors. I've yet to try it, but I'll give it a shot later.

Great for a tenner (even better for £2.95) but I found the foam to be less impressive than what I expected (likely wont last with lots of use). Also strap was a pain to adjust...
Oh - and the worst thing is... I tried it with my phone only to realise the Vodafone ultra has no accelerometer!! Grrr!

It's quite solid, as mentioned the foam around the eyes isn't great, mine looked a bit worn and probably eon't last repeated use, and it did damage my Note 3 though I have to admit that it is an old phone that has been dropped a few times, and I've been due an upgrade since September last year, though it looks like the OnePlus 3 could get my business.
Anyway, as mentioned, the headset is great for a freebie, but, if any of you missed getting one DO NOT pay the outrageous prices on eBay, you'll be very disappointed.

Mine is showing as "Processing" but weirdly enough the shipping method shows as "Priority" even though I chose the slower one at checkout... oh well, looking forward to comparing it to my Gear VR!

As I understand it, the Gear VR has actual tech on-board - sensors and that. The Loop VR is essentially something that holds your phone in front of your face...
How is the Gear VR anyway?

You are right that it isn't that bad. When I last looked some were selling it for upwards of £100. I'm pretty sure there's a comment in this thread that it looked like someone actually bought one for £100! Personally though, even £30 is slightly too much, I'd be much more comfortable with the £20 to £25 mark if I hadn't had gotten one for free.

Sadly Lands End isn't available on iOS or Android - such a pity as it's the best game for seated mobile VR http://www.landsendgame.com/

I ended up buying a different set called the BoboVR Z4 from amazon for £28. Much better, more comfortable, and has a button! You can also change the PD and focal length which makes a big difference

Pricing in India converts to approx.£294, but obviously we will pay more!
Oneplus 2 price is 3% more in UK than India, but Oneplus X is 18% more (all very approximate!)
So I would guess at somewhere between £299 and £349, probably the higher end though as we are bound to get ripped off.
At that price I’ll probably leave it for the time being and at least wait for reviews before deciding

Pointless going for priority shipping in that case.
At the moment, only PayPal is accepted and there seem to be a few tricks you need to try to get the payment to go through correctly.
OnePlus Loop VR ordering issues
For a start, the main Loop VR link will only let you order one in the States. However, we found that if you go to oneplus.net/uk/oneplus-loop-vr instead, it let's you order in the UK.
In addition, the continue button after choosing payment didn't seem to do anything for us until we entered our billing address separately - even though it's the same as our shipping address.
Doing both of those things worked though and we've had confirmation our order has been accepted.

Two shipping options are available. You can pay £2.99 for 3-7 day delivery, or £9.99 for 1-3 day delivery. The Loop VR headsets will start to ship on 6 June.

Worth remembering that the 30,000 to give away is WORLDWIDE. Some will be allocated for the India Amazon orders, no idea how big the Indian market is for OnePlus, but assume 25k for the rest of the world.
Multiple countries to manage, 30,000 units will have been a significant cost to the company.

Oneplus one is by far the best phone I've ever had. Couldn't justify buying the 2 though as no real difference. Hopefully the oneplus 3 will be a bigger step forward & I'm hoping for micro sd support as well as 64gb internal

The plastic sits on my nose and is quite uncomfortable, will add more foam round that bit.
Picture quite blurry but my phone is too small really (Nexus 4).
And the google cardboard app is kind of hard to control because it expects a button (magnetic I think) but a magnet touched near top corner seems to kind of work...
Got some experimenting to do anyway
P.S If I am sounding bitter.. i'm not - I have one coming shortly from this very same offer (yes I purchased one, not multiple like some people tried).. I just wished people could be fair... for people who actually want to use a VR kit.

It's a solid bit of kit and doesn't feel flimsy or cheaply made as I thought it would be being that it was free (plus shipping). It's all plastic with straps and foam around the inside for comfort (though on mine the foam looks ever so worn, but, it was free).
The eyepieces can be slid left or right to suit and my phone (I'm using an aging Samsung Galaxy Note 3) slides in and out of the front with a bit of pressure. Unfortunately my phone was slightly damaged during use - a thin bit of plastic next to the volume rocker came away, HOWEVER, as mentioned it is an old phone that has taken some beatings in its time.
Nicer than a Google Cardboard but I wouldn't pay any of the ridiculous asking prices on eBay for it.
Edit: found quite a lot of apps that don't require any buttons. It's been an interesting day with the device so far.

Great for a tenner (even better for £2.95) but I found the foam to be less impressive than what I expected (likely wont last with lots of use). Also strap was a pain to adjust...
Oh - and the worst thing is... I tried it with my phone only to realise the Vodafone ultra has no accelerometer!! Grrr!
So may just sell it.
