I tried to do the John Lewis price match but they said they couldn't match it because homebase don't have any stock. I then found one in stock in another part of the UK but John Lewis just said the same thing.

Came across this deal whilst searching for the best price for one of these online. Gutted that homebase had no stock. However, just managed to get John Lewis to price match to within a few pennies £39.99

Thanks OP, collected the three I'd reserved today. I thought I'd call ahead to double check it was definitely three as the homebase is 20 miles away, and only one was saved, the other one was in the warehouse and 3rd one was on display but still took it as it looks brand new.
