Now.tv's formal policy is that voucher codes should be entered/claimed within 12 months of purchase. However they definitely are automatically accepted by their system for longer than that (as they have NO idea when a box actually leaves their distributor/retailer shelf) and the forums have reports of older codes being accepted but only after communication with a now.tv agent to get it sorted.
Buy two of them and 3 of the movie one for full year only £120 with 5 boxes! Not quite the £55 currys "deal" but much easier to get and still a bargain !

with the recent offers on Now TV boxes and passes, I've accumulated a box for each telly on the house, only to discover the draconian 4 device limit, wish wouldn't be so bad I'd you were allowed to change devices more than once a month!

Yeah I know but most people me included just buy these for the passes and the boxes sit gathering dust or make their way to eBay for a couple of quid
Cheap even without the box, love ok at it this way it's 4/6 months of movies or entertainment plus a free HDMI cable and Two branded AAA batteries. Throw the box in the bin LOL

I've reserved one but I'm not convinced about Sky Movies these days. Wuaki TV is much better vfm and do some great promotions. Heat added though for the deal.

So let me get this straight.
If I have four boxes - I only need one subscription for all four?
Also, if I buy a box with a 3 month entertainment pass does this work with all four boxes? Then when done I can move to next bundled pass?
johnson293
25 May 16#34
Our last movie pass expires in a few days, so this is timely. Just reserved a movie pack to collect tonight.
Regarding the new black boxes, are they much better/quicker than the older white ones?

ChurwellOwl
25 May 16#37
Yes 1 subscription account can be used on up to 4 different devices so one account will be fine for 4 boxes. The voucher is for a subscription so yes you can use one for 3 months then the next one.
I've never actually done this so you may want to wait for someone who has done but I'm 99% sure I'm right. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether you can watch different films or episodes on different boxes under 1 account at the same time. I think the answer is that you can but again I've not tried it.

25 May 16#45
Yes - but you need to apply the codes as the previous one runs out as far as I know.
Kraken
25 May 16#46
You can't enter the codes all in one go, no. You can use a new voucher to extend your subscription in the final month though.
However, the coupons do have an expiry date so you don't want to buy too many in advance

1099 movies to choose from for the equivalent of £5 a month plus you get a very capable box thrown in too, I'd say that's damn fine value for money. Heck, even at full price (£9.99 per month), I'd still say that the ability to watch over a thousand legally streamed films is not bad at all.

Which Roku box is this equivalent to?
I have the old white NowTV box and it's a little slow, thinking of an upgrade for Plex.

£15 in Tesco but only comes with 2 months but you can double your clubcard vouchers to use towards it if that's helpful to anybody.

25 May 162#57
This box is based on the Roku 3. The white one is based on the Roku 2.
This is significantly faster than the white boxes. iPlayer lags so much on the white box but is fine on this.

never had one of these before just bought one and had to put my card details to be able to sign up, I put the code in but it is showing one month in my account will it automatically go to the following 5 months as these run out or do I have to cancel the subscription and put my activation code in again
You have got a point. But the original post you are referring to was for the 6 month entertainment box. This was for the 4 month movies box which could be of interest to some who might not have been interested in the movies one and so not have read the comments on the entertainment one.
Also I missed the original post you are referring to, had a quick look at the Argos site when I saw this one and then ordered the entertainment box when I realised that it was also available.
Not sure What I'm going to do with the other 6 boxes I also have, unused except for the passes

I'm the same... got the movies pack yesterday with the new black box, but now have about 3 or 4 of the old white boxes from previous deals, which wont be used.
