Same price at Amazon, although not sure whether Amazon warranty is 1 or 2 years. According to OP, the phone doesn't come with mains charger, but mine from Amazon did, but did not come with earpiece?!
Excellent quality, strong built, but quite slippery. Battery life is really good. Amazing screen especially to watch Netflix or Kodi. Expandable memory is a big plus. In other words, excellent phone. NFC for Google Pay is so cool.
When I was in the market for a new phone, I had to choose between the Moto X Style and the LG G4. But the double front facing speakers and the lack of bloatware won it over the G4

Really good spec, but I personally would recommend the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It has a better screen, a much better camera, and a fingerprint scanner. You can pick up a mint condition one on eBay for around £220.

They're releasing new models so I guess we'll see a number of Moto products coming down in price.

There's a three week wait on delivery for this, Amazon is price matching for both at the moment if you have prime

You don't want to buy a brand new one off Scumtree as it will probably get blocked. I however bought a mint 18 month old Note 4 for £180 off Scamtree and at that age its unlikely to get blocked.
do not get the refurb ones, just look around for the newly listed ones, I bought mine in mint condition with all original accessories and box for £195

It depends what you really want from a high spec phone, high spec can mean super fast but no battery life.
This particular device got a pretty mediocre battery performance despite the fairly large battery and for the near £300 price point you can do far better. Take a look at the nexus 6P or the Huawei P8, both are higher performing phones than this with significantly better battery life. Also worth noting that motorola has been dropping software support for their devices waaay sooner than they said they would so don't expect to be getting many OS updates with this device.
Now that they have been purchased from google by Lenovo I have even less hope for updates. Now is not the time to buy moto and this IS NOT A HOT DEAL.

I would recommend the amazon warehouse deals. They have them for £254. Mine was brand new.
I ordered the original packaging one, and got a repacked one. Amazon gave me £50 back when I complained about this.
Try your luck !

How does this compare to the Moto X Force? (apart from the shatter proof screen)
this phone was dreadful. battery life one of the worst I have ever used and overheated like mad. much better options pit there for similar money

The problem with this phone is it is massive! Have just gone from a 4.6 inch Nexus 4 to a 5.2 inch Huawei P9. The .6 inch size difference is taking a lot of getting used to. Worth trying a similar sized phone in hand before you buy.

I have a Samsung s3 and a 1st gen moto G. Samsung is 6 months newer had it for 2 years now. So this makes the moto 2.5 years old. The difference between how they have both stood the test of time is outrageous. Samsung is horribly slow, laggy, scuffed and marked, screen is cracked. Moto G is soldiering on almost as good as day 1. And I use the moto more than the Samsung.
