I have grabbed one for the wife. Says £79 but I had to buy a top voucher of £10 even though I don't believe it is required.
Not sure if the deal is on the website.

I've read various threads about peoples' memory cards becoming corrupt but that could easily be the result of a 'fake' memory card. The market is flooded with them. A tip for anyone wanting to use Adoptable Storage is to make sure your card is genuine otherwise you will encounter so many errors and probably end up blaming it on your phone. I only buy direct from Amazon as they're they only company I trust.

I've used it, and it's not great, the phone was similar to this. I wouldn't go for a 1GB device anymore. YMMV.

Anyone know how this (1GB RAM) runs on Marshmallow? If I bought one I'd want to use a 128GB card as adoptable storage. Any issues?

The Moto G 3rd wasn't released with a Dual-SIM version in the UK (both the UK variants, 8GB and 16GB, have the model number XT1541).
There are Dual-SIM variants on ebay (XT1550), imported from India. Bear in mind that those variants miss some of the UK's 4G bands, so 4G won't work on some networks (O2, Vodafone).

Is this dual sim or are there two different versions?

I'm thinking the 8Gb / 2G ram one is worth waiting for, for longevity - should take longer to slow down and need replacing?

The cameras on the Wileyfox Swift are far better than the 1st Gen Moto G, most cameras are though.
The Moto G 3rd camera is slightly better than the Swift, it has better dynamic range and post processing. The Swift offers more manual control though.
I'm pretty sure you would be happy with either camera though, since you are coming from a terrible one.

How does the camera on the WFS compare to the moto g 3rd gen. Main reason for upgrading from my 1st gen moto g is needing a new camera...

Bought one when it was £89. Incredible phone for this price. Went on holiday with this and all my friends had iPhone 5S's and wanted me to take pictures for them. I thought iPhones were meant to have good cameras but this definitely has a better camera than the iPhones before the 6. Very quick software for a phone that's so cheap.

I've found that the recent updates had improved the camera, especially with low light conditions. I'd noticed when comparing photos of my son from last year. Shares same sensor with a number of other phones so makes sense that with a few tweaks it should produce similar quality images.

get the WFS or SU6 when they're around £100 (frequently), both 2gb/16gb. why hold out for the Moto?

I got one 3 weeks ago, some quirks that are taking some getting used to (no notification light!!!) but I think its a good upgrade from the 2nd gen for well under 100 quid, and I put it through the washer last week and its fine!
chancooluk
25 May 16#47
Not quite every way. The cameras and front facing speaker on the Moto G 3rd are significantly better than the SU6.
jaydeeuk1
25 May 161#46
SU6 better in every way, apart from feeling a bit more plasticky in the hand.
Mine went wrong though, probably dropped one too many times, does phantom touches as if the square button is being constantly tapped. Vodafone unable to repair after 2 attempts. Was holding out to see if a smart ultra 7 would be released in July/August.

It wont come installed with Marshmallow, so you have the option to retain Lollipop or update

yeah I'd say it was. Maybe marshmallow has just been buggy for my friends ha. Both my cousin and a mate have this phone (1gb ram) and on marshmallow they're wrecked ha

For some people it refuses to add it to the basket (loads a blank page), but if you go back and hit the top 'Basket' button (at the very top, on the grey bar by the 'Find a store' button), it will be there.

The fourth Moto G should be out soon, and it sounds like it comes with 2GB of RAM as standard. Less than 2GB is really not much fun with modern apps.
