Down to £3-00 they have been as high as £4-50 . Average weight is over 2kg each. Think they are a good deal at this price. Roast or Hot Pot ! ! !

I remember those days although that used to just be the drumstick, I don't remember the whole leg with the thigh ever being that cheap.

I remember when the Supermarkets couldn't shift these. They used to be around a £1 each.

I've never seen it more than £3 pounds in Morrisons. I used to buy them and use the slow cooker, but tbh, when you separate the meat from the very large bone, you're really not left with a lot of meat

We have this at chrimbo, everyone likes leg meat, but I'm the only one who likes breast too (who'd have thought!), excellent value and loads of meat.

I agree, we should ditch Europe and relocate to the Caribbean, much nicer weather there.

Skin off, brown it, then stick it in a curry (bone in) for a good long slow cook. Shred it up at the end.

Leave the skin in, even if you don't want to eat it. Brown it along with the meat and it'll release loads of great flavour in to your curry, plus some great nutrients.

I prefer turkey legs as it saves on the stuffing!
Took me over an hour to stuff the turkey at Xmas.
I did stuff it through the beak though!
