Another Miele offer, £120+ elsewhere.
Descripition seems a little confused as to whether its 1200 or 1600w.

Has anybody received it yet? I was told via chat it should be back in stock by end of last week, but seems that information was incorrect.

19th May, I had the same message as you about delivery estimate. It was only when I decided to cancel, Amazon said they couldn't as it was being prepared for despatch. Then the next day it shipped.

When did you place your order though?

I've had mine delivered after I tried to cancel it as I had purchased another cleaner. Got it last Friday but went away Saturday for a few days so couldn't return it. Amazon have already refunded me the money and got them picking it up Friday.

Me too, might drop them an email saying I'm thinking of buying it elsewhere if I can't get a reasonable delivery date. If enough people do it, maybe they'll get something sorted. Can't be bothered waiting a few weeks to find out it won't be honoured.

Anybody received yet or had a delivery time confirmed? My estimated time was removed the other day. Instead I got
"Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date."

Been showing out of stock for a few hours but they obviously think they will get more stock as you can still order from Amazon rather than a third party.

As said above all a bit mixed up, other differences seem to be:
Ecoline 800w,
Powerline 1200w(older have 1600W).
Classic 1400w
cable length 5.5, 6.5, or 7.5M(model dependant)
bag capacity, some 3.5lt others 4.5lt.
no tool storage for C1 or C2 compact(kept on a removeable clip arrangement on the telescopic tube)
Tools on the Complete C2 and C3 are stored under a flap in the vacuum which is handy but normally a bigger size machine.

I can't confirm exact wattage (didn't bring it to work with me)...but the one I got from Currys is something like 1250w (going by the sticker underneath the machine) but the website at time of ordering said 1600w, box it came in and instructions said 1350w...........out of the discrepancies, the true wattage (on the machine itself) was loweest, but it has great suction (quiet too), so didn't bother complaining. Only improvement for me would be to get the carpet attachment, as this unit really grabs and you need to pull, rather than push it along.

Does anyone knows whats the diff between Miele C3 and C2 hoovers?

The C2 uses dial controls to adjust the power whereas the C3 uses buttons,it also has a "comfort cable retractor"button where you press it once and the whole cable retracts instead of keeping your foot on it..Wow

I found the Miele model naming confusing as well. The same C1, C2 or C3 in one country has less power (Watts) than in another. In France and DE for example it's hard to find anything > 800W, - thanks EU! Also within a C model there are 'powerline' 'econoline' 'cat&dog'. to further confuse.
After a lot of digging, I found that all the C1,2,3 have 'closed' air systems, preventing dust from exiting, and you can optionally replace one of the multiple filters with Hepa (though expensive) in all 3. So primarily it's a question of power. I didn't check too carefully the different brushes/accessories though or whether the 'head' is motorized - my needs were more on the allergy issues and to me a motorized head is repair trouble waiting. So my suggestion is to check the power rating in Watts and buy as big as possible, because in future, it'll likely be difficult to find >800W. Energy savings yes, but more labour - probably...

Fab hoover whichever way. We have the 1600 model but have to use it on the lower power setting as it pulls our carpet up its that strong! Bags are cheap and its easy to see why miele prefer them to bagless once you get used to it - no filters to change and no leakage/cleaning required.

Are you sure about the filters ? Ours certainly has two filters which need changing periodically.
