Anyone know how these clam on to the rails? I'm just wondering how quick they go on and off if I didn't want them permanently attached.

They come with a key and an allen key, unlock with key to gain access to the hole insert and then loosen with allen key both sides, they sort of claw grip the rails, would take 5 minutes or less per rail to remove or refit.

I have had a set before they lasted well (around three years before bolts rusted and seized) there's quite a few air trap's in them and they whistle like mad but in my opinion good value for money and I will be getting another set.
I have these and they are great. These things are normally way over priced. Has anyone seen any great deals on roof box or bike carrier (to go on these)?

make sure you check your roof rail dimensions before you buy. these don't fit my mk2 Ford Kuga, they come up short.

Do we know what type of model of roof bars these are? There are many different types on the menabo website and I'd like to know if they would fit my Civic Tourer

good price for an entry level set of roof bars. Unfortunately I don't think they will fit my Volvo v60 is it has those closed off roof bars.....

They fit my Skoda Octavia estate. You can fit them or take them off in less than 5 minutes. Great value bars.

I've got these and you can put the bolts in to screw straight into roof boxes etc without having to use the u clamps.
They are from an italian company and are really good quality, easy to fit.

For fitment, try the Menabo website, select you car and see if the MENABO BRIO (not XL) appear in the compatibility list.
Don't appear to fit a mk1 Kuga unfortunately.
