Not bad, Maplins sometimes have some good deals when on offer or clearance, worth checking local stores to see what they have on offer.

it may seem like common sense but if you buy something and it comes to 49.99 or 99.99 make sure you ask for a bag (or if you aren't in scotland and don't have to pay 5p for bags ask for a resistor -usually around 10p). You may be sold on one of the options at the till that you don't really need (I'm looking at you 20xAAA, 40xAA) but you will end up spending more than you need to.
TL;DR: If you are a penny off add either a 5p bag or a random resistor, cheaper than other promoted options.
